Le Dr Uygur est un urologue international titulaire d'un diplôme en médecine et d'un diplôme en médecine de la faculté de médecine de l'université de Hacettepe, d'une bourse de recherche du laboratoire de transplantation de l'université d'Helsinki et d'une résidence en urologie de la faculté de médecine de l'université de Hacettepe. Il compte plus de 300 publications et présentations internationales et nationales, avec 781 citations scientifiques pour 41 articles. Il est membre à part entière de l'Association européenne d'urologie, membre correspondant de l'American Urological Association, membre de la Society of Urologic Oncology et membre du conseil d'administration de la Société turque d'urologie oncologique. Il a suivi des cours de chirurgie urologique robotique à l'hôpital universitaire Vanderbilt, à la clinique de Cleveland et à l'USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. Il est professeur d'urologie et président de la faculté de médecine de l'Université du Proche-Orient, chef de l'urologie au centre médical Anadolu en affiliation avec Johns Hopkins Medicine et directeur des programmes d'uroncologie et de chirurgie robotique urologique au centre médical Anadolu. Prof. Semih Ayan, MD Fellow of the European Board of Urology Urology Department VM Medical Park Florya Hospital, Istanbul Dr. Ayan graduated from Medical School in 1991 and completed his urology education in 1997.

 At the beginning of his carrier, he was a post doctorate research fellow at the Department of Urology of Harvard Medical School, Children’s Hospital in Boston (1999-2000). He studied the effect of partial ureteral obstruction to the kidney in early developmental stage in an experimental animal fetus model. 

This study provided a significant contribution to a complicated issue of pediatric urology and was cited many times by its successors. He became associate professor of urology in 2004 and was appointed as a professor of urology in 2009. 

He was accepted as a clinical fellow in Minimal Invasive Urologic Oncology at the Department of Surgery, Section of Urology at the University of Chicago (2014-2015).

 He worked in an intense oncology program mainly concentrated on robotic surgery of prostate and kidney cancer. Because of this background, he is mainly interested in urologic oncology and pediatric urology. 

The primary portion of his daily practice consist of kidney cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, neonatal hydronephrosis, ureteropelvic junction obstruction, urine reflux to kidney, hypospadias and undescended testis. 

Because of its prevalence in Turkey, Prof. Ayan has a huge experience with urinary stone disease and he is doing large number of endoscopic and percutaneous surgeries for kidney, ureter and bladder stones. 

Prof. Ayan holds United States Medical License and European Board of Urology Certificate. He is a member of AUA, EAU and Turkish Urologic Surgery and Urologic Oncology Societies.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cenk Acar completed his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and his urology residency at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology. He worked as an assistant professor at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology between June 2009 and November 2012. Between May 2012 and November 2012, he worked as a fellow in robotic and laparoscopic surgery in urologic cancers for 6 months in the Urology Department of “The Netherland Cancer Institute-AVL hospital”. He started to work at Acıbadem Ankara Hospital in November 2012. In September 2014, he completed the necessary academic qualifications and received the title of “Associate Professor”. After working in a private hospital in Ankara between 2015-2020, he continued his services in his private practice in Ankara until 2020 when he started Hisar Intercontinental Hospital.

In 2015, he was the chairman of the organizing committee of the first course on ‘Fluorescence Imaging in Urological Surgery’ in the field of urology in Turkey. In his career, Dr. Acar, who is especially interested in Urological Cancers, Urinary System Stones, HOLEP, THUFLEP, Endourology, and Robotic and Laparoscopic Urological Surgeries, has carried out many successful operations. He has performed over 500 urological cancer surgeries, over 250 HOLEP surgeries, countless endoscopic stone surgeries, and numerous robotic and laparoscopic surgeries.

Le Dr Ilker Tinay est un oncologue urologue spécialisé dans la chirurgie mini-invasive, la reconstruction de la néo-vessie et le cancer urologique. Il est titulaire d'une licence de l'université d'Istanbul et d'un internat en urologie de l'université de Marmara. Il parle anglais et allemand. Il est membre de l'American College of Surgeons et de l'Association européenne d'urologie, et occupe plusieurs postes au sein de conseils d'administration.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeref Başal was born in 1971 in Kırıkkale and completed

his primary and secondary education in Kırıkkale. In 1984, he entered

Maltepe Military High School and graduated in 1988. He continued his

medical education at GATA Military Medical Faculty between 1988-1994

and graduated in 1994.

Following his graduation, he completed his internship at GATA Training Hospital in 1994-1995. He

served as chief infirmary physician at Siirt Gendarmerie Regional Command in 1995-1996 and Batman

Gendarmerie Regional Command in 1996-1997. Between November 2010 and November 2011, he

worked as a clinical fellow in Uro-oncology and received urologic robotic surgery training at Colombia

University Cancer Center in New York, United States of America. In October 2011, he completed his

training at Hackensack University Medical Center daVinci Training Center in the United States and

received the “Console Surgeon” certificate in robotic surgery.

In 2013, he was appointed as Associate Professor at Istanbul GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital

Urology Clinic and between September 2016 and October 2017, he continued this duty at SBU Sultan

Abdülhamit Han Training and Research Hospital Urology Clinic and worked as a docent faculty

member in SBU Urology Department. Between October 2017 and December 2018, he served as the

education officer at SBU Haseki Training and Research Hospital.

In July 2021, he retired as an Associate Professor at SBU Urology Department. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeref

Başal, who has trained many experts and academicians in the field of urology, has many articles in

national and international journals in his field, has advanced surgical experience in his field, has

performed numerous surgeries related to his subject, has organized courses on this subject and has

participated in many courses as an instructor.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeref Başal is fluent in English and thus able to communicate effectively in the

international medical environment.
