Docteur Elif Nurhak Erdal

Elle est née à Salihli, Manisa en 1975. Elle a terminé ses études secondaires au lycée anatolien Salihli Sekine Evren et ses études supérieures à la faculté de médecine dentaire de l'université d'Istanbul et a obtenu son diplôme avec succès en 1999.
La même année, elle a commencé à travailler comme professeur adjoint à la Faculté de médecine dentaire de l'IU, Département de santé bucco-dentaire communautaire, et a obtenu sa maîtrise avec mention très bien à la Faculté de médecine de l'IU Cerrahpaşa, Département de santé publique en 2003. Au cours de ses quatre années d'études universitaires, elle a travaillé comme chargée de cours à la Faculté de médecine dentaire de l'Université Yeditepe et a eu l'opportunité de travailler dans diverses cliniques privées.
Depuis 2003, il est consultant en formation pratique pour les dentistes en dentisterie esthétique et blanchiment des dents chez Güney Diş Deposu. En tant que responsable des activités de formation nationales pour les entreprises Ultradent / Kerrhawe, il a organisé des cours pour les dentistes locaux et étrangers, a participé à de nombreux congrès et salons internationaux sur le sujet et a eu l'occasion de suivre de près la technologie dentaire. Il a commencé à travailler au centre de dentisterie et d'implantologie Cosmodent en 2005. En 2007, il a fondé la « Clinique dentaire Gülümse » avec son ami médecin au centre commercial Perpa. Il fournit des services à l'hôpital d'Osmanoğlu depuis septembre 2013. Depuis 2020, il travaille dans le domaine du « tourisme de santé » à la clinique dentaire Klinik No 1, dont il est l'un des partenaires fondateurs.
Elle a ouvert sa propre clinique en avril 2024.
Représentante du district de Şişli de la Chambre des dentistes d'Istanbul, elle travaille également au sein de la Commission du tourisme de santé de la Chambre des dentistes. En même temps, elle est membre du conseil d'administration de la Commission du tourisme du conseil municipal de la municipalité de Şişli. Elle est la mère d'Ali Deniz.

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hilmi Kaya is a professor of neurosurgery at Anadolu Medical Center in Gebze, Turkey. He earned his MD from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa (English program). He completed his neurosurgery residency there from 1996 to 2003. He became a professor in 2015. He also completed observerships at Maastricht University in 2007 and 2009.

His clinical focus includes functional and stereotactic neurosurgery, including deep brain stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor. He also treats spinal tumors and spinal stenosis and performs spinal instrumentation. He manages skull base and brain tumors. He performs vascular surgery of the central nervous system.

Achievements include leading a Parkinson’s research project at Ondokuz Mayıs University (BAP, Project No. T.597, 2008). He supervised a neurosurgery thesis in 2008. His awards include third place at the 2nd National Congress of the Society of Neurosurgery in 2006, the Turkish Neurosurgical Society Overseas Scholarship in 2008, and the Aysima Altınok Thesis Award in 2009. Several of his papers ranked at the 22nd and 23rd Turkish Neurosurgical Society Scientific Congresses in 2008 and 2009. He is a member of the Turkish Neurosurgical Society and the Turkish Medical Association.

Dr. Cagatay Saim Tezel is a Professor of Thoracic Surgery at Memorial Şişli Hospital since 2025. From 2021 to 2025, he was a Professor at Haliç University Faculty of Medicine and at Liv Hospital Ulus. Earlier, he served at SB Süreyyapaşa Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital as a specialist, associate professor, and educational supervisor.

He earned his MD from Ankara University. He completed his Thoracic Surgery specialization at SB Heybeliada Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Hospital from 2000 to 2005. His international training includes a 6‑month observership at the Royal Brompton Hospital and work in the Leicester University clinics. He also attended the STS 41st Annual Meeting and the Ankara University Esophageal Surgery Program. He was part of the Süreyyapaşa Thoracic Surgery Transplant Team. He was an internship lecturer at Yeditepe University from 2013 to 2020. He served on the editorial board of the Heybeliada Medical Bulletin in 2001.

He is a member of the Turkish Thoracic Surgery Society, the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Turkish Thoracic Society, and the European Respiratory Society. He advised a thesis that won third place in the Istanbul Medical Chamber Thesis Competition.

Dr. Mert Tanal is a General Surgery Specialist at Memorial Şişli Hospital (2024–present). He previously worked at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital (2023–2024) and Tekirdağ Dr. İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital (2021–2023). He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Health Sciences Şişli Hamidiye Etfal (2016–2021). He earned his M.D. from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa (2009–2015).

He holds the European Board of Surgery Qualification in General Surgery (2022). He took the Turkish Surgical Society Proficiency Exam (2021). He has published 28 articles in international indexed journals and 10 in national peer-reviewed journals. He has 46 conference presentations and posters.

He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Surgical Society, Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, National Trauma and Emergency Surgery Association, ESSO, EAES, and the American College of Surgeons. His training includes IRCAD Robotic Surgery in Strasbourg (2022) and SENATURK Breast Surgery (2020–2021).

Prof. Dr. M. Emre Üstündağ is a Professor of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Anadolu Medical Center in Gebze. He has been a professor at Kocaeli University since 2006. He completed his MD and ENT residency at Istanbul University between 1983 and 1995. He has worked at Istanbul and Kocaeli universities and at Acıbadem hospitals. He has also maintained a private practice since 2006.

Clinical focus: head and neck oncology and surgery; rhinology and rhinoplasty; laryngology; septoplasty; sleep apnea surgery.

He completed international training in Ireland (Ardkeen). In Germany, he trained in Tübingen; Freiburg (otology, 4 months); and Regensburg (rhinology, 4 months). In the USA, he trained at Stanford in laryngology and sleep apnea (4 months). He has 47 international articles and 788 citations (Google Scholar, Jan 2026). Dr. Banu Atalar is a board-certified radiation oncologist (Türkiye, 2004). She is a Full Professor at Acibadem MAA University (2018–present) and a clinician at Anadolu Medical Center (2026–present). She trained at Istanbul and Cerrahpaşa. In 2011, she completed a Stanford clinical research fellowship in stereotactic radiosurgery. Her practice focuses on CNS, thoracic, and GI tumors. About 75% of her care involves SRS and MR‑guided adaptive SRS.

Her honors include the ASCO IDEA award (2004), the IASLC International Mentorship Award (2018), and H.FACR (2025). She has 72 international peer‑reviewed publications. Her leadership roles include President of the Turkish Society for Radiation Oncology (2025–27) and Chair of the ESTRO National Societies Committee (2024–27). She served on the ASCO Resource‑Stratified Guidelines Committee (2013–18) and on RSS meeting and nomination committees. She organized national congresses (2023, 2025) and has been an invited speaker at major meetings.

Dr. Mehmet Berki is a physician with extensive experience in emergency medicine and clinical leadership. He is Chief Physician and Responsible Manager at Scala Polyclinic (2025–present). He held the same role at Cinik Hair Hospital (2022–2024). He also worked full-time as an emergency physician at several hospitals in Istanbul.

He managed health services for 17,000–20,000 students and more than 2,000 staff at Yeditepe University. He trained 250 physicians in reproductive health and AIDS under the Baku-Ceyhan pipeline EU project. His background includes cardiology follow-up, hair transplantation, and clinic management in acupuncture and bioresonance.

Dr. Duran Cekic is a specialist in General and Plastic Surgery. He is known for his skill and commitment to improving medical care. He graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine. He then completed his residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Mersin University.

Dr. Cekic worked as a specialist at Bitlis Tatvan State Hospital. He also supported pediatric care as a general practitioner. He received third place at the 40th National Congress of the Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery for his research on stem cell differentiation.

He continues to develop his skills by attending courses and symposiums on rhinoplasty, facial aesthetics, and regenerative medicine. This helps him stay current with the latest advances in surgery.

Dr. Koray Karabulut is a general surgery specialist at Memorial Göztepe Hospital (2025–). His focus is HPB surgery, liver transplantation, and robotic or minimally invasive surgery. He was the responsible specialist at the Fırat University Liver Transplant Center (2014–2018). He then worked as an organ transplantation specialist at Memorial Şişli (2018–2019). In 2024, he worked in robotic HPB surgery at Ageo Medical Center.

Training highlights include minimally invasive HPB at IRCAD (2015). He completed a research fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic on liver tumors and laparoscopic‑robotic surgery (2010–2011). He also completed liver transplant training at the İnönü University Institute (2011–2012). He earned his MD and finished his general surgery residency at Istanbul University. He became an associate professor in 2013. His academic work includes peer‑reviewed papers in J Gastrointest Surg, Surgery, and Surg Endosc. He has written surgical book chapters. He is a guideline author for the Turkish Surgical Society and served on editorial boards (2011–2016).
