Il a terminé son éducation médicale à la Faculté de médecine de l'université de Hacettepe (anglais) en 1995. Entre 1995 et 2000, il a terminé sa spécialisation en urologie au Département d'urologie de l'université de Dokuz Eylül.

Après sa spécialisation, il a travaillé en tant que spécialiste en urologie à l'Hôpital d'État de Bayındır, l'Hôpital d'État de Karşıyaka, et l'Hôpital d'État de Kemalpaşa.
