Professional Background
Dr Ákos Manó Fazekas graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Szeged in 2019. After gaining initial experience in private practice, he continued his professional career at the Dental and Oral Surgery Clinic of the Clinical Centre of the University of Pécs, working within the Departments of Oral Diagnostics and Paediatric Dentistry.
Alongside his clinical responsibilities, he has been actively involved in the education and practical training of dental students from the very beginning of his university career, teaching in both Hungarian and English.
In May 2023, he successfully completed his specialist examination in Paediatric Dentistry, achieving an Excellent qualification.
Between 2021 and 2025, alongside his university clinical work, he also practised in public primary dental care and private practice, providing both general and specialist dental care to children and adults. These varied clinical experiences enabled him to develop extensive expertise in treating patients of different ages and with a wide range of dental needs.
Dr Fazekas is highly committed to the continuous development of his professional knowledge and skills. He regularly attends national and international conferences, postgraduate training programmes and hands-on courses. His particular professional interests include modern local anaesthetic techniques, especially intraosseous anaesthesia, as well as minimally invasive dental procedures, including ICON resin infiltration treatment.
