Dr. Saban Sec is a medical oncologist with experience at leading hospitals, including Haseki Training and Research Hospital, Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital, and Bahçelievler Medikalpark Hospital. He currently represents specialist physicians in the Turkish Medical Oncology Association. He is also a member of the Istanbul Medical Chamber and the Turkish Medical Oncology Association.

Dr. Sec treats breast, lung, gastrointestinal, prostate, urogenital, head and neck cancers, as well as sarcomas and rare tumors. He has published many peer-reviewed articles on cancer prognosis, treatment outcomes, and survival rates. His research includes studies with large patient groups, such as 138 patients with HER2-positive metastatic gastric cancer. Dr. Sec focuses on prognostic factors and treatment responses in different cancers. He is dedicated to improving cancer care.

Assoc. Prof. Atakan Topçu, M.D., is a medical oncologist at Medipol University and Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital. He treats solid tumors, including lung, breast, colorectal, gastric, and neuroendocrine cancers. His work also covers targeted therapies, immunotherapy, geriatric oncology, and cancer-related malnutrition, cachexia, and sarcopenia.

He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Recent work includes a 2024 Frontiers in Medicine study on geriatric syndromes and a 2023 Future Oncology paper on sarcopenia and anxiety in lung cancer. He has also published on the CONUT score in breast cancer and on malnutrition in HER2-negative metastatic gastric cancer.

Dr. Topçu serves on the Editorial Board of BMC Cancer. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology, ESMO, and the Turkish Geriatrics Society. Education and training: M.D., Uludağ University; residency in Internal Medicine, Marmara University; fellowship in Medical Oncology, Bezmialem Vakıf University.

Dr. Zuhal Cakmak Peksen is a Family Medicine Specialist since 2017. She earned her MD from Çukurova University in 2010. She completed specialty training at Yüzüncü Yıl University between 2013 and 2017. She is currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in Health Management at Anadolu University (2024–present).

She has 15 years of clinical practice (2010–2025) across 8 institutions. Her experience includes research in Family Medicine (2013–2017) and work at several Family Health Centers. Since 2020, she has served at TOKİ Avrupa Family Health Center in Gaziosmanpaşa, Istanbul.

Prof. Selin Kapan has been a Professor of General Surgery since 2017. She is currently with Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery (2022–present). She previously worked at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital as a Specialist and Associate Professor. She also served as Educational and Administrative Supervisor at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. In addition, she was Medical Coordinator and General Surgeon at Istanbul Surgery Hospital.

She has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Her research covers hernia repair, perianal fistula, pilonidal disease, hepatic hydatid disease, laparoscopic surgery, and gastrointestinal surgery. Her work has been published in journals such as Digestive Surgery, Hernia, Techniques in Coloproctology, and the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery. She is a member of the Turkish Surgical Association, the National Trauma and Emergency Surgery Association, the Hernia Society, the Turkish HPB Surgery Association, the Stem Cell and Cellular Therapies Association, and the Gastroesophageal Reflux Association.

Dr. Ercan Ozden is a specialist in internal medicine and medical oncology. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He later received a subspecialty in medical oncology at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine from 2016 to 2020.

Dr. Ozden has worked in medical oncology at Şırnak State Hospital. He has also served as an internal medicine specialist at Bağcılar Private Safa Hospital and Küçükçekmece Batı Bahat Hospital. He has extensive clinical experience in both internal medicine and oncology.

Dr. Muhammed Mustafa Atci is an Associate Professor of Medical Oncology at İstinye University, Liv Hospital Topkapı (2025–present). He previously served as Associate Professor and Education Coordinator at Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital (2023–2025). He was also a Medical Oncologist there (2018–2021).

He has been a member of ASCO and the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology since 2018. He is the author or co-author of 19 peer-reviewed international papers on colon, breast, gastric, pancreatic, lung, thyroid, sarcoma, and colorectal cancers.

Notable works include a multicentre study on stage IIB colon cancer survival (Journal of Chemotherapy). He also studied the De Ritis ratio for lung metastasis in testicular cancer (Current Urology). His prognostic studies used PET/CT, MSI, lymph node ratio, and metabolic tumor volume.

Le médecin est diplômé de la Faculté de médecine de l'Université d'Istanbul Cerrahpasa et possède une vaste expérience en médecine interne et en gastroentérologie. La formation spécialisée a été complétée à l'Hôpital de formation et de recherche Haydarpaşa Numune, avec un accent sur la gastroentérologie. Le Dr Osman Aktas est chirurgien généraliste à l'hôpital Avicenne d'Ataşehir depuis 2005. Né à Kayseri en 1960, il a obtenu son diplôme de médecine à l'Université d'Ankara en 1983. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il a effectué son service militaire dans des unités médicales pendant deux ans. Il a effectué sa résidence en chirurgie générale à GATA de 1986 à 1990. Après s'être spécialisé en chirurgie générale, il a occupé des postes clés en tant que chef de service de chirurgie générale et médecin-chef dans plusieurs hôpitaux militaires de premier plan, notamment à Tatvan, Diyarbakır, Ankara et Manisa.

Le Dr Osman se spécialise dans la chirurgie endoscopique depuis 1995. Il a suivi une formation avancée en techniques de chirurgie laparoscopique en Allemagne et a réalisé avec succès une large gamme d'interventions laparoscopiques. Son expertise s'étend à la chirurgie de la vésicule biliaire, aux réparations de la paroi abdominale et de la hernie inguinale, à l'appendicite, au reflux et aux chirurgies de l'estomac, ainsi qu'aux cas complexes tels que les tumeurs gastro-intestinales, les obstructions intestinales et diverses autres maladies intestinales, toutes traitées par des méthodes mini-invasives.

En 2002, le Dr Osman est passé au secteur privé, où il a élargi sa pratique pour inclure des traitements modernes pour les maladies anales comme les hémorroïdes, les fistules et les fissures, en utilisant des techniques avancées telles que la thérapie au laser.

Le Dr Osman est également reconnu pour ses contributions importantes à la chirurgie oncologique. Il possède une vaste expérience dans le traitement chirurgical de divers cancers, notamment du sein et de la thyroïde, où il a mis en œuvre de nouvelles méthodes de traitement qui réduisent le risque de complications. Son expertise chirurgicale couvre les chirurgies oncologiques critiques, telles que la procédure de Whipple pour le cancer du pancréas, les résections du cancer colorectal, le cancer gastrique et d'autres tumeurs malignes complexes.
