Dr. Liu Zongyi is an Associate Chief Physician in the Department of Stomatology. He specializes in dental implant placement, digital implantology, implant prosthodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. His work includes extraction of complex, impacted, and unerupted teeth.

His professional appointments include Standing Council Member of the Xiamen Stomatological Association. Dr. Qasim Wasim holds an MBBS and master’s and PhD degrees in general surgery from Dalian Medical University. He is a PMDC board-certified general practitioner with over 10 years of experience. He served as a resident at Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex and at Nawaz Sharif Social Security Hospital in Lahore.

He manages cases in internal medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and dermatology. He also handles emergencies such as trauma, fractures, cardiac events, and burns. He is multilingual and serves an international community. He has authored over eight SCI-indexed research papers on intestinal ischemia–reperfusion injury and surgical biomechanics.

Professor ZHENG Wei Hong is Director of the Department of Neurology and the discipline leader. He previously served as Director of Neurology at Xiamen University Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital. He is a Professor at Xiamen University and a master's supervisor.

His clinical focus includes etiological investigation, prevention, and treatment of cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage. He also diagnoses and treats complex neurological diseases, including epilepsy, neuroimmunological and neuromuscular disorders (myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis), and Parkinson's disease.

Dr. Liuying leads the Oncology Ward at Jinshazhou Hospital, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. Clinical focus includes hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, and lung and colorectal cancers. Dr. Liuying has special expertise in melanoma and melanoma liver metastasis. Interventional skills include MWA, RFA, cryoablation, and radioactive seed implantation for non-vascular, minimally invasive tumor ablation.

Professor Huang Wenqi is a hepatologist with over 30 years of experience. He focuses on clinical cure and antiviral therapy for chronic hepatitis B, and on the management of liver cirrhosis. He uses an integrated approach combining Traditional Chinese and Western medicine. He provides artificial liver support, including plasma exchange and dual bilirubin adsorption. He also offers minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment, liver fibrosis assessment, and differential diagnosis for jaundice and unexplained liver function impairment.

Professor Zhang Jin Nong is Director of Respiratory and Cardiovascular Medicine and a national expert in infectious diseases. He has over 40 years of clinical experience. In 2020, he was honored as a Hubei Provincial Advanced Individual for COVID-19 control.

His clinical focus includes respiratory diseases, complex internal medicine, infectious diseases, and advanced lung cancer treatment. He is skilled in fiberoptic bronchoscopy, invasive and noninvasive ventilation, management of sleep-disordered breathing, and pulmonary function testing.

Dr. Ming Shao is a Professor, Chief Physician of Neurological Rehabilitation, Postdoctoral Fellow in Neurosurgery, and Doctoral Supervisor. He has over 35 years of experience. Prof. Zhang En Da is Chief Physician in spinal cord injury rehabilitation with over 30 years of clinical experience. He completed advanced training at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital and at the Department of Neurology, First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University.

He focuses on SCI rehabilitation from all causes. He manages tetraplegia and paraplegia, incomplete paralysis, sensory problems, and neurogenic bladder and bowel dysfunction, including urinary retention, incontinence, overactive bladder, constipation, and fecal incontinence. He also treats movement deficits after pulmonary infections and after stroke. His methods include structured bladder and bowel care, botulinum toxin A for limb spasticity, pelvic floor biofeedback, pelvic magnetic stimulation, and tibial nerve electrical stimulation. He serves on the Standing Committee and the Standardization Working Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine. He is also a Work Injury Rehabilitation Expert in Xiamen.

Professor Fan Yu is Chief Physician and Director of Kidney Transplantation. His center ranked first in Fujian for three straight years in liver and kidney transplants. His team performed 112 kidney transplants and one combined liver-kidney transplant over two years.

He specializes in kidney transplantation, post-transplant complications, and immunosuppressive management. He developed a system to improve long-term graft and patient survival.

He pioneered the diagnosis and treatment of chronic and subclinical rejection. He has led more than 10 grants as principal investigator and published over 30 SCI-indexed papers. He is Vice Chairman of the Transplant Surgeon Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Organ Transplant Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association. He is Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Kidney Friends and serves on the editorial boards of over 20 journals, including the Chinese edition of Transplantation.

Dr. Wang Qing is Director of the Department of Urology and an international expert in urologic endoscopic surgery. He pioneered laparoscopic radical cystectomy with WZ-type sigmoid neobladder reconstruction and the Wu method prostatectomy. His expertise includes urologic oncology, minimally invasive surgery, prostate disease, and urinary stones.

Dr. LV Xiao Jun is the Executive Director of the Department of Medical Oncology. He is a national expert in psycho-oncology and has 30 years of clinical experience. He previously served at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University. He is a recognized expert in cancer treatment and lung cancer care in Fujian Province.
