• Le Prof. Dr. Selami Serhat Şirvan a obtenu son diplôme de la faculté de médecine d'Istanbul (Université d'Istanbul) en 2007. La même année, il a débuté son internat en chirurgie plastique, reconstructrice et esthétique à l'hôpital de formation et de recherche Şişli Etfal, qu'il a achevé en 2013.

• Entre 2013 et 2015, il a effectué son service obligatoire à l'hôpital public Şişli Hamidiye Etfal et à l'hôpital public Selahattin Cizrelioğlu.

• Après avoir terminé son service, il a réussi le concours d'assistant en chef et est retourné à l'hôpital de formation et de recherche Şişli Hamidiye Etfal en 2015 en tant qu'assistant en chef au sein de la clinique de chirurgie plastique, reconstructrice et esthétique.

• La même année, il a suivi une formation en microchirurgie avancée à l'Université Columbia, à New York.

• En 2015, il a réussi avec succès les examens écrits et oraux de l'European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS), obtenant ainsi la certification européenne. Il a également reçu la certification du conseil turc décernée par la Société turque de chirurgie plastique, reconstructrice et esthétique la même année.

• Le Dr Selami Serhat Şirvan est l'auteur de plus de 40 articles scientifiques publiés dans des revues nationales et internationales et a réalisé plus de 100 présentations orales. Ayant obtenu le titre de « Professeur agrégé » (Associate Professor) en 2020, le Dr Şirvan a accédé au titre de « Professeur » en 2025 grâce à la continuité de ses travaux académiques et à ses contributions originales.

• Entre 2020 et 2021, il a occupé le poste de chef administratif de la clinique de chirurgie plastique, reconstructrice et esthétique à l'hôpital de formation et de recherche Şişli Hamidiye Etfal. De 2021 à 2022, il a travaillé comme superviseur de formation au sein de la même clinique.

• Il a participé à de nombreux congrès et cours liés à son domaine et a également été instructeur lors de cours de microchirurgie.
