Qualifications

Professor Kim Jong-yeon is a gastroenterologist at Myongji Hospital specializing in diseases of the esophagus, stomach and colon, as well as liver diseases including liver cirrhosis and hepatitis. He also performs therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic polypectomy. In addition to his clinical practice, he currently serves as Deputy Director of the International Healthcare Center at Myongji Hospital and is actively involved in the care of international patients.

Professor Kim is also part of Myongji Hospital’s multidisciplinary liver care team. At the hospital’s Liver Failure Center, he works together with specialists in hepatology, liver cancer and liver transplantation to provide integrated care for patients with advanced liver disease, including patients who may require transplantation.
