La Pre Yeşim Yıldırım est diplômée de la faculté de médecine de la Hacettepe University d'Ankara en 1999, où l'enseignement se fait en anglais. Elle a suivi sa spécialisation en médecine interne à la Gazi University puis sa surspécialisation en oncologie médicale à la Başkent University, devenant oncologue médicale en 2007. En début de carrière, elle s'est formée au Rambam Medical Center de Haïfa grâce à une bourse du Middle East Cancer Consortium et a suivi le cours d'immunologie de l'European School of Oncology comme boursière Hans Wyder.
Après son service obligatoire à l'hôpital Sivas Numune, elle a exercé comme oncologue médicale aux hôpitaux Acıbadem Kozyatağı et Acıbadem Maslak et enseigné la médecine interne à l'Acıbadem University comme professeure assistante. Elle est devenue maîtresse de conférences en 2011 et a rejoint la même année le Anadolu Medical Center. En 2015, elle s'est formée à la clinique d'immuno-oncologie du Mount Vernon Cancer Centre à Londres, en 2018 elle a obtenu un master en management de la santé à l'Istanbul Bilgi University, et en 2021 elle est devenue professeure à la faculté de médecine de la Haliç University.
