Prof. Selin Kapan has been a Professor of General Surgery since 2017. She is currently with Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery (2022–present). She previously worked at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital as a Specialist and Associate Professor. Dr. İlhami Soykan Barlas est né en 1977 à Istanbul Moda. Il est diplômé du lycée Anadolu de Kadıköy et de la faculté de médecine de Cerrahpaşa. Il a obtenu le titre de spécialiste en chirurgie générale après avoir terminé sa spécialisation en chirurgie générale à l'hôpital de formation et de recherche d'Okmeydanı en 2008.

Il s'est rendu deux fois en Écosse en 2006-2007 et a reçu une formation avancée en laparoscopie.
