Dr. Wang Qing is Director of the Department of Urology and an international expert in urologic endoscopic surgery. He pioneered laparoscopic radical cystectomy with WZ-type sigmoid neobladder reconstruction and the Wu method prostatectomy. His expertise includes urologic oncology, minimally invasive surgery, prostate disease, and urinary stones.
Proficiencies include laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, ureteroneocystostomy, laparoscopic dismembered pyeloplasty, flexible ureteroscopy with multi-modality lithotripsy, and transurethral enucleation of the prostate. His appointments include the National Health Commission committee for urologic endoscopic diagnosis and therapy, the CMDA Urological Surgery Branch (1st–2nd), and the Chinese Society of Endoscopy. He is Lead PI for Urology for the 163 Program. He is also Deputy Director of the Urology Institute at Shenzhen University, Vice Chair of the Shenzhen CMA Urology Branch, and Vice President of the Shenzhen Urological Oncology Society.
