Dr. Mutlu Arat, a highly experienced Hematology and Internal Medicine specialist, is recognized for his significant contributions to the medical field, particularly in bone marrow transplantation. He has carried out around 1400 bone marrow transplants, including over 562 autologous transplants and over 500 allogeneic transplants. His medical interests lie in bone marrow transplantation, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and GVHD late side effects.
Education
- Graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1991.
- Completed residency in Internal Medicine at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.
- Sub-specialty training in hematology at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.
- Visitor Lecturer at the University of Minnesota Dept. of HOT, BMT Unit, Minneapolis, USA in 2008.
