Yasmina, ma coordinatrice, m’a beaucoup aidée à prendre la décision de subir une angioplastie des membres inférieurs. Elle m’a présenté différentes options et a collaboré étroitement avec l’hôpital PMG afin de m’obtenir un devis tout à fait raisonnable et de faciliter la réalisation de l’intervention dans les délais serrés dont je disposais. J’ai trouvé que l’hôpital PMG était très à l’écoute des patients étrangers. J’ai d’abord rencontré le personnel pour m’informer des capacités de l’hôpital à réaliser cette intervention, et Vee, leur interlocutrice, a grandement facilité la communication avec les infirmières et surtout avec le médecin. J’ai trouvé que le personnel, les infirmières et l’ensemble de l’équipe de soutien, y compris le service de restauration, qui préparait des repas délicieux n’ayant rien à voir avec les idées reçues sur la « nourriture d’hôpital », étaient formidables. Mon médecin était très compétent et expérimenté dans cette intervention, qu’il a réalisée avec brio. Son équipe m’a donné la confiance nécessaire pour subir l’opération et a veillé à ce que tout se passe bien. Dans l’ensemble, je tiens à remercier Bookimed, l’hôpital PMG et tout particulièrement le médecin et les infirmières pour leur travail et leurs soins exceptionnels ; je suis désormais convaincu que, grâce à leurs efforts, ma vie sera désormais plus longue et sans douleur. J’ai hâte de revenir pour mon contrôle à 6 mois ! Et puis-je ajouter que le suivi assuré par Vee et son équipe, avec les visites à l’hôtel et le transport aller-retour vers l’hôpital, a été tout simplement exceptionnel !

Si je devais ajouter quelque chose, ce serait de proposer au reste du personnel d'approfondir un peu ses connaissances en anglais de base. Ils ont fait de leur mieux et je sais qu'ils ont donné le meilleur d'eux-mêmes ; au final, nous avons réussi à nous comprendre !
