Dr. Luděk Ryba is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in spinal surgery. His main focus is on cervical spine stenosis. He has worked at the University Hospital Brno since 1995. In 2004, he earned his specialist qualification in orthopaedics.
He is a founding member of the Czech Spondylo-Surgical Society, established in 1999. Dr. Ryba is also active in the Czech Medical Chamber and the Czech Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. He is Deputy Head of Education, Science, and Research at Masaryk University. He completed his PhD in 2016.
Dr. Ryba has written many peer-reviewed articles and given lectures. His research covers topics such as cervical spondylotic myelopathy and spinal instability. He has made important contributions to spinal surgery in the Czech Republic.
Dr. Jan Cienciala is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon. He specializes in degenerative spine diseases, oncological spondylo-surgery, and non-fusion techniques. He graduated from Palacky University in 1984. He holds both 1st and 2nd degree certifications in orthopaedics and traumatology. He also earned a PhD with a dissertation on dynamic spine stabilization.
Dr. Cienciala is a founding member and past president of the Czech Spondylo-Surgical Society. He also chairs the spondylo-oncological section of the Czech Cancer Society. He has completed advanced internships in Germany, the USA, and the Czech Republic.
He has given 83 national and international lectures. He has authored 56 professional publications and contributed to 11 book chapters. His work has made a strong impact on spine surgery and research.
Dr. Martin Repko is an experienced orthopaedic and spine surgeon. He specializes in scoliosis, spinal deformities, spondylosurgery, spinal oncology, and neuromuscular skeletal deformities. He has advised the Minister of Health of the Czech Republic. Dr. Repko is also a member of the Scoliosis Research Society and the European Union of Medical Specialists.
He has written 12 books and published 58 scientific papers. Dr. Repko has delivered 379 presentations. He supervises doctoral studies and educational programs at Masaryk University in Brno. He also works as an expert surgeon in international spine deformity programs. His accreditations and leadership roles highlight his influence in orthopaedics and spinal surgery.
