GleEagles Hospital, Parel - Review Comments:
I got admitted to GlenEagles on 6th of March 2025 under an extremely unfavourable situation. I was almost unconscious and was not aware how the Ambulance Team took me there. On the first day, when Senior Doctor Amit Mandot Sir observed me, he assured my wife that he would stabilize me and make me stand on my own feet within two days. He and his entire hospital staff made those words come to reality. I appreciate all those efforts from my heart.
Below is the Staff picture that I took while taking the discharge on 10th March 2025, whoever was available at that time. I wanted to share some of those efforts, which are given below.
On the First day, they first gave me proper medicines to ensure my blood parameters were at least close to tolerable range. Then, the Same day night, they removed 6.5 Litres of water, which was the root cause of my unconsciousness. I had Non-Alcoholic Liver Cirrhosis, which was the main cause of all the issues. I got spunging in the early morning on 7th March only. From 8th March onwards, I walked myself without any support to the bath to clean myself.
The Hospital's ground staff (Mamas and Mavshis) also helped me in this process. Smt. Sanjana, who was one of the Floor managers for ground staff, also coordinated well. I recommend an award in the annual award ceremony of the hospital for each one of them.
The Nurses (Sisters), were also extremely good. Especially the night staff. Whenever I wake up during the night and call for some support, within 3-5 minutes, they are at my bed to provide the necessary support. Within Sister's Staff, I highly recommend for Top award in her Category for Sister Rutuja. She was extremely polite to talk and always had a fresh smile during the entire night till her duty got over. When I checked with her, I got to know that she was just 2 years elder than my Son. Somehow, I started feeling after 1st night that whenever I used to see her, I am looking at my elder daughter.
Last but not least, after the first day, the Dietian team planned out my diet depending on the results of my blood report and the Doctor's advice. Every day, I used to get a customized diet in every food that I had, and the Physio Team, who guided me for some basic exercise to maintain my Body weight. when I was admitted I weighed 104 Kg, which was reduced to 94 Kg on the day of Discharge.
I am really, really thankful to the entire Hospital for bringing me my life back and guiding me to maintain my health.
