Hair transplant methods

Micro-Graft FUE:

FUE (follicular unit extraction) is the most advanced hair transplant method.

Doctors extract follicles from the donor area (bunches of 1-4 hairs) and implant them into the recipient area on the head with a thin scalpel. Typically, the donor area is the back of the head, less often — patient's arms, legs, chest, groin.

The amount of transplanted hair is determined individually. Hair transplant specialists can transplant from 4,000 to 5,000 follicles in 1 session.

Restoration and result: The skin heals within 3 days. On the 3rd day, the patient washes their hair with a special shampoo. The final transplant result is visible in 6-8 months on average.

DHI:

DHI (direct hair transplant) is the method of transplanting with a punch, a special tool whose function is similar to that of a ballpoint pen. A surgeon inserts a bunch of hair into the punch and implants it into the scalp, pressing the button.

The method's advantages include smaller scars and a more natural result. DHI takes 6-8 hours. This procedure is more meticulous than other transplant methods and thus more expensive.
