Dr. B L Kapur, an eminent Obstetrician and Gynecologist, set up a Charitable Hospital in 1930 at Lahore. In 1947, he moved to post-partition India and set up a Maternity Hospital at Ludhiana. In 1956 on the invitation of the then Prime Minister, Dr. B L Kapur initiated the project for setting up a 200 bed hospital in Delhi. The hospital was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru on 2nd January, 1959.
By 1984, when the hospital celebrated its Silver Jubilee, it was an expanding hospital well on its way to becoming Delhi's premier multispecialty institute. Services offered included General Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dentistry, Pulmonology, Intensive Care and Orthopedics, apart from mother & child care.

The Hospital has one of the biggest critical care programmes in the region with 125 beds in different intensive care units viz Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, Pediatrics, Neonatology, Neurosciences and Organ Transplant. All critical care beds are in the close vicinity of the Operation Theatre complex for easy accessibility and continuity of care. Each Critical care unit is equipped with high end patient monitoring devices, ventilators and dedicated isolation rooms. Facilities for haemodialysis, CRRT, SLED, endoscopy and bronchoscopy are available 24X7 by the bedside.
Liver and Renal Transplant Centres have been equipped with dedicated ICUs with individual hepafilters, specialized instruments and equipments, Veno-venous bypass system and dedicated anaesthesia equipment.
The Hospital has specialized birthing suites with telemetric foetal monitors to follow the progression of labor, and also the facility for the family to stay with the patient during the labor. A dedicated operation theatre adjacent to the labour room helps in shortening the response time in case there is a need to conduct the delivery through surgical means.
The Hospital's advanced Building Management System provides for multi-tiered access control, electronic security systems with integrated CCTVs spanning across the facility and advanced fire management system amongst other utilities. Aujourd'hui, j'ai visité l'hôpital BLK-Max pour mon bilan de santé préventif annuel, et je dois dire que toute l'expérience a été exceptionnelle. Le personnel de l'hôpital a été extrêmement professionnel, gentil et attentionné tout au long du processus. Une mention spéciale à Mme Arshi, M. Gulshan, Mme Amrita, Mme Anuradha, Mme Shalini et au Dr Jeevanjyot pour leur splendide hospitalité et leurs soins. Chacun d'entre eux s'est assuré que chaque étape du bilan de santé se déroule sans accroc et confortablement. Mme Arshi à la réception a été très courtoise et nous a guidés efficacement. M. Gulshan a été incroyablement serviable et a veillé à ce que toutes les procédures soient effectuées rapidement et sans tracas. Mme Amrita, Mme Shalini et le Dr Jeevanjyot ont fourni d'excellents soins et une attention professionnelle. À la fin, Mme Anuradha nous a servi un délicieux repas, ce qui a été une façon charmante de conclure la journée. Dans l'ensemble, ce fut une expérience fantastique avec une excellente coordination, un processus rapide et une attention sincère de la part du personnel. J'apprécie vraiment le service merveilleux de toute l'équipe de l'hôpital BLK-Max. Hautement recommandé pour les bilans de santé préventifs !

J'ai séjourné avec ma mère à l'hôpital BLK Max de Delhi lors de son opération de remplacement du genou, et je suis extrêmement satisfait des soins que nous avons reçus. Notre chirurgien orthopédiste, le Dr Ishwar Bohra, est très professionnel et compétent. L'opération a été un grand succès et nous sommes sincèrement reconnaissants pour son expertise et ses conseils. Je tiens également à souligner l'excellent service fourni par GDE Deepa Bahuguna, GDE Camlesh et la femme de ménage T. Thangalaxmi au 7ème étage. Leur dévouement, leur gentillesse et leur attention ont rendu notre séjour beaucoup plus confortable. Dans l'ensemble, l'expérience à l'hôpital BLK Max a dépassé nos attentes. Le personnel est professionnel, compatissant et attentionné. Je recommanderais sans hésiter cet hôpital à toute personne ayant besoin de soins médicaux de haute qualité.

J'ai vécu une expérience merveilleuse avec BLK Max Kitchen. La nourriture était fraîche, savoureuse et servie avec beaucoup de soin. Chaque repas était bien préparé, hygiénique et équilibré avec attention. Le personnel était poli, attentionné et toujours prêt à aider pour les demandes spéciales. Leur service rend vraiment le séjour à l'hôpital beaucoup plus confortable. Merci à M. Raj pour l'excellent service et l'hospitalité. Hautement recommandé !

Le service de restauration fait un travail incroyable, nous sommes très satisfaits du thé du matin et du petit-déjeuner, en particulier du bol de fruits servi, et le déjeuner et le dîner sont très bons. Nous sommes très impressionnés par M. Vishal pour son attention au bien-être du patient et pour la qualité de son service.

Je suis venue là-bas uniquement pour le Dr Laxmi Mantri. Mais mon expérience concernant l'hôpital et leurs politiques a été très mauvaise et insatisfaisante. Étant titulaire d'une carte de bénéficiaire CGHS, je trouve que les files d'attente à chaque étape sont très irritantes. Premièrement, au guichet de facturation, il faut entre 45 minutes et une heure juste pour régler la facture. Ensuite, en consultation externe (OPD), il n'y a pas d'heure fixe pour le médecin ; s'ils sont prévus à 12h, ils arrivent à 15h ou 16h et il faut attendre très longtemps pour la consultation. Ensuite, le jour de l'admission pour l'opération : ils nous appellent à 6h du matin et disent ensuite que le personnel arrivera à 8h pour effectuer le processus, alors pourquoi nous appeler à 6h ? Ensuite, les employés de l'accueil sont censés être là à 8h, ils arrivent à 9h, et il faut ensuite 2 heures pour préparer le lit. Après l'admission, le service de cuisine est très lent, la commande arrive après une heure... Après une telle expérience, je réfléchirai à deux fois avant de revenir pour une future consultation ou un traitement.
