Dr. Cheon Won Seok is the Director of the Department of Gastroenterology at Naeun Hospital. His expertise includes gastrointestinal diseases; upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy; polypectomy; ESD (Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection); small-bowel capsule endoscopy; digestive disorders; gastric and esophageal cancer; Helicobacter pylori infection; liver diseases; and inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

He graduated from Kyung Hee University College of Medicine. He completed his internship at Kyung Hee Medical Center and his internal medicine residency at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital. He later served as a Clinical Instructor in Gastroenterology at Chung-Ang University Hospital. He is a full member of the Korean Association of Internal Medicine and a life member of the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Omer Burcak Binicier is a gastroenterology specialist with strong medical training. He earned his medical degree at Ege University. He completed his internal medicine and gastroenterology specialization at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Binicier has over ten years of clinical experience. Dr. Seymur Aslanov is a specialist in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He received advanced training at Ege University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. Dr. Aslanov diagnoses and treats many gastrointestinal diseases. His expertise includes inflammatory bowel diseases, digestive system cancers, liver and pancreatic diseases, and gastrointestinal bleeding.

Assoc. Prof. Atakan Topçu, M.D., is a medical oncologist at Medipol University and Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital. He treats solid tumors, including lung, breast, colorectal, gastric, and neuroendocrine cancers. His work also covers targeted therapies, immunotherapy, geriatric oncology, and cancer-related malnutrition, cachexia, and sarcopenia.

He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Recent work includes a 2024 Frontiers in Medicine study on geriatric syndromes and a 2023 Future Oncology paper on sarcopenia and anxiety in lung cancer. He has also published on the CONUT score in breast cancer and on malnutrition in HER2-negative metastatic gastric cancer.

Dr. Topçu serves on the Editorial Board of BMC Cancer. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology, ESMO, and the Turkish Geriatrics Society. Dr. Irfan Cicin is a Professor of Medical Oncology at the Trakya University Faculty of Medicine (2015–present). He has over 20 years of medical oncology experience and has held academic roles since 2010.

Dr. Yaacov Lawrence, MA, MBBS, MRCP, is Chair of Radiation Oncology at Sheba Medical Center. He has nearly 30 years of experience in precision radiation oncology and neuro-oncology.

He is an expert in advanced radiation therapy and radiosurgery. He performs stereotactic radiosurgery for brain tumors. He leads Sheba’s GI Cancer Program in gastrointestinal oncology. He also provides precision care for lung and prostate cancers. He pioneered celiac plexus radiosurgery for severe pain from pancreatic cancer.

Prof. Ben Boursi is a physician in the Gastrointestinal Cancer Department at Sheba Medical Center. He specializes in internal medicine, medical oncology, and cancer epidemiology. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He earned a B.Med.Sc (summa cum laude) and an MD (magna cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.

He completed clinical and research fellowships in GI oncology and cancer epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed electives at MD Anderson and Mayo Clinic. He founded the ECOG-ACRIN Microbiome Working Group. His microbiome-oncology research has been published in leading journals, including Science, and highlighted by ASCO.

He developed predictive models for early diagnosis of colorectal and pancreatic cancers. These models are now in clinical evaluation. He holds an academic appointment at Tel Aviv University. He is also an Associate Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.
