Ezgi Sevic est diplômée de l'Université Hacettepe, département de nutrition et diététique, en tant qu'étudiante d'honneur. Pendant ses études, elle a mené des études sur "l'effet du comportement alimentaire hédonique sur l'obésité", "la nutrition parentérale totale chez les enfants" et "la relation entre la résistance à l'insuline et l'obésité". Pendant ses études, elle a participé sur le terrain à des études visant à déterminer l'état nutritionnel de la société.
