Le professeur Massimo Falconi est un oncologue gastro-intestinal spécialisé dans les maladies du pancréas depuis plus de 30 ans. Il exerce à l'Ospedale San Raffaele de Milan et a réalisé 3 600 interventions chirurgicales, dont des pancréatectomies distales, totales et moyennes, des résections pancréatiques et des énucléations. Il est directeur de la chirurgie pancréatique et de l'unité clinique et translationnelle du pancréas à l'IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele et possède une expérience internationale au Japon, en Espagne, en Allemagne et en Suède.
