Le professeur Cechetmeier est un brillant chirurgien et un spécialiste de la chirurgie oculaire qui a obtenu un doctorat de l'université de Vienne, une licence de médecin généraliste et une vaste expérience de la formation en ophtalmologie et en optométrie. Il a publié 100 articles scientifiques et est membre de nombreuses sociétés nationales et internationales. Il a lui-même subi une chirurgie réfractive et a opéré sa fille, son frère et d'autres membres de sa famille.

Le Dr X est diplômé de l'école de médecine de l'université d'Ankara (Turquie) et de l'académie médicale militaire de Gülhane (Turquie). Il est membre de l'Association ophtalmologique turque et de l'Association médicale turque.

Le médecin est diplômé de l'école de médecine de l'université d'Istanbul et a effectué des stages dans les cliniques ophtalmologiques universitaires de Cologne et de Tübingen, en Allemagne.
