Rafael Bruck est un gastro-entérologue et hépatologue très expérimenté, avec plus de 40 ans d'expérience. Dr. Harald Rosen is a leading abdominal surgeon. He specializes in endocrine, gastrointestinal, liver, colon, and bariatric surgeries. His expertise includes complex procedures such as sleeve gastrectomy and gastric anastomosis. Dr. Rosen is known for his research on improving the quality of life for rectal cancer patients after surgery. He also has a strong academic background in surgical oncology, with a focus on gastroenterology and breast cancer.

Dr. Rosen is President of the European Society of Surgery. He is also a Professor of Surgery at Vienna Medical School. He is accredited by the European Council for Surgical Qualifications and the Austrian Medical Council. Dr. Rosen has performed over 5,000 advanced surgeries with excellent results. He has published widely and is often invited as a visiting professor around the world.

Le Prof. Dr. Aytaç ATAMER est né le 31 janvier 1964 à Adapazarı. Il a commencé ses études de médecine à la Faculté de médecine de l'Université d'Istanbul et a obtenu son diplôme en 1987. Après avoir terminé sa formation de résident à la Faculté de médecine de l'Université Dicle, Département de médecine interne, Atamer a travaillé comme médecin spécialiste à l'Institution d'assurance sociale (SSK) de l'hôpital de Diyarbakır. Il a ensuite continué à travailler comme médecin spécialiste à l'hôpital de formation et de recherche de Diyarbakır.

En 2008, il a terminé sa spécialisation supérieure à la clinique de gastroentérologie de l'hôpital de formation et de recherche Haydarpaşa Numune et la même année, il a été nommé professeur associé de médecine interne à l'hôpital de formation et de recherche Haydarpaşa Numune. En 2011, il a continué son devoir avec la mission de créer la clinique de gastroentérologie de l'hôpital d'État de Yalova et le service obligatoire et en 2013, il est devenu membre du corps enseignant de l'université de Yalova. Dr. Saban Sec is a medical oncologist with experience at leading hospitals, including Haseki Training and Research Hospital, Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital, and Bahçelievler Medikalpark Hospital. He currently represents specialist physicians in the Turkish Medical Oncology Association. He is also a member of the Istanbul Medical Chamber and the Turkish Medical Oncology Association.

Dr. Sec treats breast, lung, gastrointestinal, prostate, urogenital, head and neck cancers, as well as sarcomas and rare tumors. He has published many peer-reviewed articles on cancer prognosis, treatment outcomes, and survival rates. His research includes studies with large patient groups, such as 138 patients with HER2-positive metastatic gastric cancer. Dr. Sec focuses on prognostic factors and treatment responses in different cancers. He is dedicated to improving cancer care.

Dr. Martin Schindl is a senior consultant at the University Hospital of Surgery, Vienna General Hospital. He specializes in surgery of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts. He also focuses on surgical cancer therapy. Dr. Schindl leads the surgical outpatient clinic for pancreatic and biliary diseases. He coordinates the interdisciplinary pancreatic cancer group at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Vienna.

He founded the ABCSG Pancreas Working Group. Dr. Schindl reviews articles for international surgical journals. He is a member of several national and international surgical societies. He also serves on the ethics committee of the Medical University of Vienna. Dr. Schindl has made important contributions to cancer therapy research and patient support programs.

Dr. Sebastian F. Schoppmann is an expert in general and visceral surgery. He has focused on upper gastrointestinal (GI) surgery since 2007. He leads the Gastroesophageal Tumor Unit (CCC-GET) at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Vienna. He is also an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna.

Dr. Schoppmann has published over 240 peer-reviewed articles. He serves as a consulting or associate editor for several leading surgical and oncology journals. He is the General Secretary of the Austrian Society of Surgical Oncology. He has also held important leadership roles in surgical oncology organizations. His work has helped advance upper-GI cancer surgery.

Dr. Gerhard Prager is a leading bariatric surgeon. He has performed over 3,000 bariatric operations using advanced techniques such as gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and biliopancreatic diversion. He serves as Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board for Bariatric Surgery at IFSO. Dr. Prager has played a key role in shaping international standards in obesity surgery.

Dr. Prager’s practice uses a multidisciplinary approach. He works closely with endocrinologists, psychologists, nutritionists, and other specialists to provide complete patient care. He is active in research, education, and advanced surgical training. Dr. Prager has trained surgeons from more than 50 countries.

Dr. Vilius Kontenis is a gastroenterologist and endoscopist. He trained at Vilnius University and earned his MD in 2014. He completed his gastroenterology residency in 2018. Since then, he has worked at Mažeikiai Hospital as a gastroenterologist and endoscopist. He also practices at Kardiolita Clinics in Vilnius as a gastroenterologist.

His work includes a systematic review and meta-analysis on inflammatory bowel disease. He has studied liver fibrosis, comparing FibroScan with routine tests. He has also published on dysphagia in older adults, pediatric diarrhea, and food allergy. He has presented on chylous ascites and catastrophic antiphospholipid syndrome. He edited issue No. 1 of Gastroenterologija. He attended the 35th GEEW in 2017. He is a member of the Lithuanian Gastroenterology Association and the World Gastroenterology Organisation.

Dr. Tomas Jucaitis is a gastroenterologist and endoscopist. He studied at Kaunas University of Medicine from 1991 to 1998 and graduated in 1998. He completed a primary residency at Ukmergė Hospital in 1999 (1998–1999). He then finished an internal medicine residency at Vilnius University (1999–2001). He later completed a gastroenterology residency (2001–2003). His training also includes internships in the Czech Republic, Germany, and the USA.

He was Coordinator at the National Organ Transplantation Bureau from 2001 to 2004. He worked as an endoscopist and ultrasound specialist at Vilnius Emergency University Hospital from 2003 to 2006. Since 2006, he has practiced as a gastroenterologist and endoscopist at Vilnius University Hospital “SK” Center Branch and at Vilnius “Kardiolita Clinics.” He also held prior roles at Švenčionys Hospital and “Northway” Medical Center.

Dr. Laura Masalaite is a gastroenterologist and endoscopist at VUL Santaros Clinics and Kardiolita Clinics. She became Acting Head of the Organ Transplantation Coordination Centre in 2024. From 2007 to 2024, she served as Senior Specialist. She has been an Associate Professor at Vilnius University since 2024.

She completed a PhD in Medicine in 2014 (2010–2014). She finished a gastroenterology residency in 2010 (2006–2010). She is a licensed gastroenterologist (MPL15909; 2010-06-30). Her advanced training includes liver transplantation in Vienna (2023–2024) and Warsaw (2010). She also trained in endoscopy and ultrasound in Wuppertal and completed UEG courses. She obtained GCP certification in 2023.

She has published in Cancers, Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology, and Hepatology International. Her work covers national 5-year colorectal screening and EUS for predicting variceal recurrence.
