He completed his Internal Medicine training at Ege University in 1990. He earned his PhD in Hematology at Japan Mie Medical School in 1995.

Dr. Omay has published 65 scientific articles, 112 meeting papers, and 34 international conference presentations. He has served as a professor at Ege University and Karadeniz Technical University. Prof. Dr. Birol Baytan is a respected pediatric hematologist. He focuses on diagnosing and treating childhood cancers, leukemia, anemia, and bleeding disorders. Français Le Prof. Dr. Rafet Eren a obtenu son diplôme de la Faculté de Médecine d'Istanbul en 2007. Il a terminé sa formation de spécialité en médecine interne à la Faculté de Médecine de l'Université de Marmara en 2012. En 2018, il est devenu sous-spécialiste en hématologie à l'Hôpital de Formation et de Recherche d'Istanbul. En 2019, il a reçu le titre de professeur associé dans le domaine de l'hématologie.
