Dr. Hasan Cem is a Professor of Urology. He specializes in pediatric urology, male infertility, men’s sexual health, urinary stone treatment, prostate diseases, and laparoscopic urological surgery. He completed his medical and doctoral studies at GATA - Gülhane Military Medical Academy. He became a Professor in 2016.

Dr. Cem has worked in leading hospitals, including Lokman Hekim University İstanbul Hospital. He also gained international experience at Duke University Hospital and Lenox Baker Spina Bifida Hospital in the USA. He has published 43 international and 16 national peer-reviewed articles. He has also contributed 20 technical notes and case reports, and received 9 academic or scientific awards.

Dr. Nuri Alper Sahbaz is an experienced endocrine and general surgeon. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He also gained advanced clinical experience at Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas Medical School. He holds the European Board of Endocrine Surgery Qualification. Only five surgeons in Turkey have this accreditation.

Dr. Sahbaz focuses on surgeries of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal gland, and neuroendocrine tumors. He is skilled in laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures. He has performed more than 2,000 surgeries in these areas. He is also known for his expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy.

Dr. Kemal Raşa is an experienced general surgeon with over 20 years of practice, specializing in breast cancer, pancreatic and thyroid cancer surgery, and glucose metabolism and infection treatment. He is the President of the Surgical Infection Society - Europe and a lecturer in several departments. He is also a member of The Surgical Infection Society Europe (SIS-E), The World Society of Emergency Surgery (WSES), The World Surgical Infection Society, The Turkish Medical Association and The Turkish Surgical Association.

Dr. Hasan Onur Akin is a specialist in Periodontology. He treats gum diseases, places dental implants, and removes impacted wisdom teeth. He has completed many advanced procedures, such as All-on-4 and All-on-6 implants, dental cyst removal, and dental treatments under sedation.

Dr. Akin has been a certified member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) since 2020. He is known for his precise work and high success rates in periodontal surgeries. Many patients trust him for his skill and experience.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Yıldırım is a thoracic surgeon with Turkish Thoracic Surgery Proficiency Certification (2003). He is also a member of the European Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons (FETCS). Dr. Yıldırım completed fellowships at several international centers. At the Toronto Lung Transplant Program, he took part in 85 recipient surgeries and nearly 100 donor organ procurements.

Dr. Kaplan Baha Temizgonul is a bariatric surgeon with expertise in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric procedures. He has been practicing since 2015. He trained at Bakirkoy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul, one of Turkey’s busiest centers for laparoscopic surgery.

He graduated from Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. This university is known for its work in sleeve gastrectomy. Dr. Temizgonul also has experience in war surgery from his service at the Syrian border. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and is known for his caring approach to patients.

Assoc. Prof. Kıvanç Derya Peker is a surgeon with expertise in pancreatic, gallbladder, liver, and stomach surgeries. He also specializes in obesity and metabolic surgery, as well as kidney transplantation. He completed his medical and surgical training at Istanbul University. He ranked among the top three in the national minor specialty exam for gastroenterological surgery.

Dr. Peker has performed over 400 pancreatic and gastric cancer surgeries and more than 200 liver surgeries. He has also completed many gallbladder, biliary tract, obesity-metabolic procedures, and kidney transplants. He received training at the Mayo Clinic. He co-founded the Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery unit at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Hospital. There, he provided advanced training to surgical residents.

He is known for his research in aging and stem cell treatments. Dr. Peker has established gastroenterology surgery clinics at major hospitals. He is accredited by the Turkish HPB Association and has received a scholarship from the Turkish Surgery Association.

Dr. Vafi Atalay is an experienced oncological and general surgeon with 17 years in the field. He specializes in pancreatic, colon, rectal, and liver surgeries. He also performs advanced endoscopic procedures. Dr. Atalay has published 31 articles in national and international journals, making valuable contributions to medical literature.

He received the first prize at the 20th Congress Research Paper Competition. He also won the Best Research Award at the 5th Surgeon Research Congress. Dr. Atalay is a member of TSS, the Palestinian Medical Association, and IOA. His active involvement in these organizations shows his dedication to professional growth and surgical excellence.

Meanwhile, between March and June 2020, he worked as a clinical researcher at Maastricht University Faculty of Medicine Department of Radiation Oncology – MAASTRO Clinic (Netherlands) on stereotactic radiotherapy, thoracic radiotherapy-related lung toxicity and proton therapy. While he was working at İstinye University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Radiation Oncology and Liv Hospital Ulus Radiation Oncology Clinic between March 2021 and April 2023, he received the title of Associate Professor in February 2023. She has been serving her patients at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental since May 2023.

He has performed both traditional radiotherapy and advanced radiotherapy throughout his career. He is one of the experienced physicians in our country in stereotactic radiotherapy and MRI-guided radiotherapy treatments, which have become increasingly popular and used especially recently. So far, he has successfully completed more than 2500 radiotherapy sessions with the MR-Linac device.

He has been a member of the Turkish Society of Radiation Oncology (TROD) since 2013 and the European Society of Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) since 2015. He has 27 articles published in domestic and international journals, 31 oral-poster presentations presented at national and international congresses, and 5 book chapters published by national and international publishing houses. He taught Term I and Term V undergraduate courses at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Faculty of Medicine, postgraduate courses within the scope of Ear Nose and Throat Department Specialization training, and Radiotherapy associate degree courses at İstinye University Vocational School of Health Services. She is currently working on 2 ongoing TÜBİTAK Projects. He is married and has a son.

Dr. Mehmet Ozan Aşık is an Associate Professor in Orthopedics and Traumatology. He is known for his expertise in musculoskeletal disorders and trauma care. He works as a Postdoctoral Fellow at a top Orthopaedics Laboratory. His research focuses on preclinical biomechanical studies and testing biomaterials. Dr. Aşık has made important contributions to clinical research on implant performance. His work helps improve orthopedic surgical outcomes. He has published many peer-reviewed articles and takes part in international orthopedic congresses.
