Le médecin est diplômé de l'école de médecine de l'université d'Istanbul et a effectué des stages dans les cliniques ophtalmologiques universitaires de Cologne et de Tübingen, en Allemagne. Ils ont obtenu un doctorat en thérapie immunomodulatrice de l'uvéite et ont participé à plusieurs conférences et réunions, notamment la 42e réunion annuelle de la Société européenne d'ophtalmologie pédiatrique, le Congrès mondial d'ophtalmologie et le Congrès de la Société européenne des chirurgiens de la cataracte et de la chirurgie réfractive.
