Ce médecin a de l'expérience en matière de traitement endocrinien et collabore à des études visant à surmonter la résistance à l'hormonothérapie. Il a également participé à de nombreuses études de phase 1, 2 et 3 sur le sein et le mélanome, qui ont conduit à l'approbation de nouveaux médicaments dans de nouvelles indications. Leur principal domaine d'intérêt est l'immunothérapie pour le traitement du mélanome et les soins aux patients. Ils ont participé à des essais qui ont conduit à l'approbation des inhibiteurs de cdk4/6 palbociclib et ribociclib en première ligne du cancer du sein métastatique, et du Pembrolizumab en première ligne du mélanome métastatique, ainsi que de la combinaison du Nivolumab et de l'Ipilimumab.
