Dr. Nezih Onur Ermerak is a Thoracic Surgery Specialist at Memorial Göztepe Hospital (2025–). He previously worked in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Marmara University (2009–2025). He also served at Kilis State Hospital during compulsory service and war surgery (2015–2017).

Dr. Esra Eker is a specialist in anesthesiology and reanimation. She works at Memorial Bodrum Hospital (2025–present). Her previous posts were at Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital (2024–2025), Istanbul Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Hospital (2018–2024; 2007–2011), and SBÜ Van Regional Training and Research Hospital (2011–2018).

She completed residency training in anesthesiology and reanimation at Istanbul Siyami Ersek (2007–2011). She earned her medical degree from Fırat University Faculty of Medicine (1991–1997).

Professional development covers perioperative hematology; organ procurement intensive care; transplantation anesthesia (kidney and liver, LDLT); ultrasound-guided anesthesia; and TEE.

Dr. Birol Herdem is a pediatric specialist (2018–present). He currently works at Memorial Bodrum Hospital (2025). He has held pediatric posts at Private Izmir Can Hospital, Acıbadem Bodrum Hospital, SBÜ Gülhane Training and Research Hospital, and Çubuk State Hospital. Earlier, he served as Chief Physician of the 102nd Artillery Regiment (2011–2013).

He earned his MD from Gülhane Military Medical Academy (2002–2009). He completed specialty training in pediatrics at SBÜ Gülhane (2013–2017). He is trained in robotic, laparoscopic, and gynecologic cancer surgery.

Dr. Zuhal Cakmak Peksen is a Family Medicine Specialist since 2017. She earned her MD from Çukurova University in 2010. She completed specialty training at Yüzüncü Yıl University between 2013 and 2017. She is currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in Health Management at Anadolu University (2024–present).

Prof. Murat Sünbül is a Professor of Cardiology at İstinye University, Topkapı Liv Hospital (2025–present). He earned his M.D. from Istanbul University in 2005 and completed a cardiology residency at Marmara University in 2010. From 2011 to 2025, he served at Marmara University as a Cardiology Specialist, and then as Assistant, Associate, and Professor.

Expertise includes complex coronary interventions and coronary imaging (FFR, OCT, IVUS). He performs peripheral, carotid, and renal artery interventions and denervation. He treats structural and valve disease (ASD/PFO closure, TAVI). He provides device therapy (LBB pacing, ICD, CRT). He uses advanced imaging (TEE, 3D echo, speckle tracking) and performs right heart catheterization. He also manages heart failure, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and pulmonary hypertension.

He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed papers in national and international journals. His work has appeared in Herz, The Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon, Cardiology Journal, and Wiener Klinische Wochenschrift.

Dr. Vafa Guliyeva is a pediatric rheumatologist at Memorial Göztepe Hospital in Istanbul. She previously worked at Memorial Şişli and LIV Bona Dea. Before that, she was a pediatrics specialist at Florence Nightingale Hospital.

Training: Pediatric rheumatology subspecialty at Istanbul University and Istanbul Cerrahpaşa University. Pediatrics residency at Istanbul Medeniyet University.

Achievements: Author of 20 international and 3 national peer-reviewed articles. Presented 3 international and 20 national conference papers. Contributed to 4 book chapters. Principal investigator of a BAP scientific project.

Dr. Serap Kaya is a medical oncologist with a specialization in Medical Oncology from Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine. She has worked at several leading hospitals, including Oltu State Hospital, Kocaeli State Hospital, Marmara University Pendik Training and Research Hospital, and Medistate Kavacik Hospital. Dr. Kaya has made important contributions to cancer care at these institutions.
