Op. Le Dr Mustafa İşlek est né en 1961. Après avoir terminé ses études de médecine à la faculté de médecine de l'université d'Istanbul Cerrahpaşa, il a effectué sa résidence en ophtalmologie à l'hôpital d'État de Sakarya. Op. Le Dr İşlek a travaillé à la Faculté de médecine de l'Université Albert Szent Gyorgyi entre 1990 et 1992 ; Entre 1992 et 1994, à l'hôpital Şişli Eftal d'Istanbul ; Entre 1998 et 2011, il a travaillé à l'hôpital public d'Antalya Serik.
