Né à Ankara en 1980, il a fait ses études primaires et secondaires à Artvin, sa ville natale. Il a travaillé dans le domaine de l'électrophysiologie avec le professeur Dr. Remzi Karaoğuz à l'hôpital Güven d'Ankara. Il est devenu professeur associé en janvier 2014 et professeur en 2023.
