Dr. Gokhan Yilmaz is an experienced general surgeon with nearly 20 years in medical practice. He is known for his skill in complex surgical procedures. He earned his Master’s Degree from Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine. Le professeur MD Yusuf Serdar Sakin est né à Nevşehir en 1978. Après avoir terminé ses études primaires et secondaires à Ankara, il est diplômé de la Faculté de médecine de l'Académie de médecine militaire de Gülhane en 2002.
Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il a servi à Gole/Ardahan pendant deux ans. Il a commencé sa formation en médecine interne au Département de médecine interne de la Faculté de médecine de Gülhane.
Après avoir terminé sa formation, il a travaillé comme spécialiste en médecine interne à Ankara. Un an plus tard, il a commencé une formation complémentaire au département de gastroentérologie de la faculté de médecine de Gülhane et a terminé sa formation en 2014.
Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, Yusuf Serdar Sakin a continué à travailler dans le même département. Il a également reçu une formation avancée en endoscopie et en motilité au Centre AMC aux Pays-Bas en 2017.

Le Dr Osman Aktas est chirurgien généraliste à l'hôpital Avicenne d'Ataşehir depuis 2005. Né à Kayseri en 1960, il a obtenu son diplôme de médecine à l'Université d'Ankara en 1983. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il a effectué son service militaire dans des unités médicales pendant deux ans. Il a effectué sa résidence en chirurgie générale à GATA de 1986 à 1990. Après s'être spécialisé en chirurgie générale, il a occupé des postes clés en tant que chef de service de chirurgie générale et médecin-chef dans plusieurs hôpitaux militaires de premier plan, notamment à Tatvan, Diyarbakır, Ankara et Manisa.

Dr. Muhammed Mustafa Atci is an Associate Professor of Medical Oncology at İstinye University, Liv Hospital Topkapı (2025–present). He previously served as Associate Professor and Education Coordinator at Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital (2023–2025). He was also a Medical Oncologist there (2018–2021).

He has been a member of ASCO and the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology since 2018. He is the author or co-author of 19 peer-reviewed international papers on colon, breast, gastric, pancreatic, lung, thyroid, sarcoma, and colorectal cancers.

Notable works include a multicentre study on stage IIB colon cancer survival (Journal of Chemotherapy). He also studied the De Ritis ratio for lung metastasis in testicular cancer (Current Urology). His prognostic studies used PET/CT, MSI, lymph node ratio, and metabolic tumor volume.

Dr. Irfan Cicin is a Professor of Medical Oncology at the Trakya University Faculty of Medicine (2015–present). He has over 20 years of medical oncology experience and has held academic roles since 2010.

Education: MD, Istanbul University – Cerrahpaşa (1991–1997). Residency in Internal Medicine, Trakya University (1997–2002). Fellowship in Medical Oncology, Trakya University (2002–2004).

Practice: Medical Oncologist, Trakya University (2005–2008). Medical Oncologist, Elazığ Training and Research Hospital (2008–2010). Associate Professor of Medical Oncology, Trakya University (2010–2015). He previously served as a physician in the Turkish Air Force at Etimesgut Military Hospital (2004–2005).

Dr. Zuhal Cakmak Peksen is a Family Medicine Specialist since 2017. She earned her MD from Çukurova University in 2010. She completed specialty training at Yüzüncü Yıl University between 2013 and 2017. She is currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in Health Management at Anadolu University (2024–present).

She has 15 years of clinical practice (2010–2025) across 8 institutions. Her experience includes research in Family Medicine (2013–2017) and work at several Family Health Centers. Since 2020, she has served at TOKİ Avrupa Family Health Center in Gaziosmanpaşa, Istanbul.

Prof. Selin Kapan has been a Professor of General Surgery since 2017. She is currently with Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery (2022–present). She previously worked at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital as a Specialist and Associate Professor. She also served as Educational and Administrative Supervisor at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. In addition, she was Medical Coordinator and General Surgeon at Istanbul Surgery Hospital.

She has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Her research covers hernia repair, perianal fistula, pilonidal disease, hepatic hydatid disease, laparoscopic surgery, and gastrointestinal surgery. Her work has been published in journals such as Digestive Surgery, Hernia, Techniques in Coloproctology, and the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery. She is a member of the Turkish Surgical Association, the National Trauma and Emergency Surgery Association, the Hernia Society, the Turkish HPB Surgery Association, the Stem Cell and Cellular Therapies Association, and the Gastroesophageal Reflux Association.
