Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeref Başal est né en 1971 à Kırıkkale et a terminé
ses études primaires et secondaires à Kırıkkale. En 1984, il entre
Lycée militaire de Maltepe et diplômé en 1988. Il a poursuivi ses études
formation médicale à la Faculté de médecine militaire de GATA entre 1988 et 1994
et a obtenu son diplôme en 1994.
Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il a effectué son stage à l'hôpital de formation GATA en 1994-1995.
a été médecin-chef de l'infirmerie au commandement régional de la gendarmerie de Siirt en 1995-1996 et à Batman
Commandement régional de la gendarmerie en 1996-1997. Entre novembre 2010 et novembre 2011, il
a travaillé comme chercheur clinique en uro-oncologie et a reçu une formation en chirurgie robotique urologique en Colombie
Centre universitaire du cancer de New York, États-Unis d'Amérique. En octobre 2011, il a terminé son
formation au Hackensack University Medical Center daVinci Training Center aux États-Unis et
a reçu le certificat de « Console Surgeon » en chirurgie robotique.
En 2013, il a été nommé professeur associé à l'hôpital de formation GATA Haydarpaşa d'Istanbul.
Clinique d'urologie et entre septembre 2016 et octobre 2017, il a continué cette fonction à SBU Sultan
Hôpital de formation et de recherche Abdülhamit Han Clinique d'urologie et a travaillé comme professeur-docent
membre du département d'urologie de la SBU. Entre octobre 2017 et décembre 2018, il a été
responsable pédagogique à l'hôpital de formation et de recherche SBU Haseki.
En juillet 2021, il a pris sa retraite en tant que professeur associé au département d'urologie de la SBU. Prof. Assoc. Dr. Şeref
Başal, qui a formé de nombreux experts et universitaires dans le domaine de l'urologie, a de nombreux articles dans
revues nationales et internationales dans son domaine, possède une expérience chirurgicale avancée dans son domaine, a

a participé à de nombreux cours en tant qu'instructeur.

Prof. Dr. Ali Ferruh Akay is a board-certified urologist with more than 30 years of medical experience. He has specialized in urology for over 25 years. He currently serves as Professor of Urology at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.
Dr. Akay earned his medical degree from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his urology residency at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine. In 2005, he received advanced training in Endourology and Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Rochester in the USA.
He has worked at several leading institutions. These include Dicle University, Istanbul Training and Research Hospital, Memorial Diyarbakır Hospital, Veni Vidi Hospital, and Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.
Dr. Akay’s expertise includes uro-oncology, endourology, minimally invasive procedures, stone surgeries, male infertility, erectile dysfunction, and BPH. He has published over 100 scientific articles and is an active member of the European Association of Urology (EAU).
Prof. Dr. Ege Can Şerefoğlu is a leading urologist and andrology specialist. He has over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research. He is a Professor of Urology and Andrology. He completed a clinical fellowship in andrology at Tulane University School of Medicine. He also holds a PhD in Embryology and Histology.
His main areas of expertise are erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, male infertility, and varicocele. He is skilled in microsurgical and minimally invasive procedures in andrology. He has published over 275 scientific articles and has helped develop international clinical guidelines.
Prof. Dr. Şerefoğlu is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Impotence Research. Dr. Ilter Alkan is a Professor of Urology with broad experience at leading medical centers. He has worked at Memorial Bodrum Hospital and Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Alkan has served as a urology specialist in Turkey and abroad. He completed fellowships in laparoscopic urology and endourology at Krankenhaus der Elisabethinen in Austria. He also received advanced training at University College London.
Dr. Alkan earned his medical degree from Ege University and finished his residency at Marmara University. He later became an associate professor and then a full professor in urology. He is a member of the Endourological Society, Turkish Urological Association, SIU, and EAU.
Dr. Hasan Cem is a Professor of Urology. He specializes in pediatric urology, male infertility, men’s sexual health, urinary stone treatment, prostate diseases, and laparoscopic urological surgery. He completed his medical and doctoral studies at GATA - Gülhane Military Medical Academy. He became a Professor in 2016.
Dr. Cem has worked in leading hospitals, including Lokman Hekim University İstanbul Hospital. He also gained international experience at Duke University Hospital and Lenox Baker Spina Bifida Hospital in the USA. He has published 43 international and 16 national peer-reviewed articles. He has also contributed 20 technical notes and case reports, and received 9 academic or scientific awards.
Dr. Yunus Colakoglu is a Urology Specialist at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital. He previously worked at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital. He holds a European Board of Urology Certification (FEBU). Dr. Colakoglu completed his specialization at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Mustafa Emiroglu is a general surgery specialist at Memorial Bodrum Hospital. He has significant experience from his work at Sağlık Bilimleri University Tepecik SUAM (2016–2023) and Kırşehir Hospital (1997–1999).
He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialization at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Emiroglu is a member of the Turkish Society of Surgery, the Endocrine Surgery Association, and the Colorectal Surgery Association.
