Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Yıldırım is a thoracic surgeon with Turkish Thoracic Surgery Proficiency Certification (2003). He completed his residency at Istanbul Sisli Etfal Teaching and Research Hospital. He then pursued a fellowship at Hacettepe University Cancer Institute.

Dr. Sayar received international training at top centers, including Kyoto University and the Karolinska Institute.
