Le Dr Francisco Castro Dominguez est titulaire d'un diplôme en médecine et en chirurgie de l'Université de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.

Dans le cadre de ses études, il a effectué un internat à l'Université Humboldt de Berlin, où il a visité l'hôpital de la Charité. Des années plus tard, il s'est spécialisé en rhumatologie après un internat à l'hôpital del Mar i l'Esperanza de Barcelone, et a suivi une formation avancée en arthrose du genou et en médecine du sport au Royal North Shore Hospital de l'Université de Sydney, en Australie.

Il a complété ses études avec un Master en Gestion Médicale à l'Université de Barcelone et a travaillé comme chercheur postdoctoral dans l'Unité de Recherche sur l'Inflammation et le Cartilage de l'Institut Hospital del Mar d'Investigacions Mèdiques.

Travaux scientifiques :

Actuellement, le médecin occupe le poste de coordinateur du groupe de travail sur l'arthrose de la Société espagnole de rhumatologie (ARTROSER), collaborant en tant que chercheur à plusieurs projets multidisciplinaires visant à étudier le phénotypage de l'arthrose du genou, et en tant que conseiller dans des projets institutionnels liés à la formation de protocoles de traitement et de soins pour les patients souffrant d'arthrose du genou et de la hanche.

Depuis 2007, je suis chef du département de chirurgie maxillo-faciale et d'implantologie de l'hôpital Quirons de Barcelone.

Notre service vise à allier la plus haute qualité de soins médicaux à un service d'excellence pour nos patients. La coexistence de deux spécialités (chirurgie orale et maxillo-faciale et dentisterie) couvre l'ensemble du territoire.

Le fait de disposer d’un spectre clinique dans un seul espace nous permet d’offrir à nos patients des soins uniques.

Dr. Carlos Manuel Pollán Guisasola is a consultant ENT surgeon at Centro Médico Teknon and Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol in Barcelona. He specializes in endoscopic skull base surgery, head and neck oncology, and robotic surgery using the Da Vinci system. He earned his medical degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela. He completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology through the MIR program at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital.

Dr. Pollán received advanced clinical training at the University of Pittsburgh and the University Hospital of Pisa. He leads the robotic head and neck surgery program at his hospitals. He is a faculty member at the ENT Teaching Unit of Germans Trias i Pujol. Dr. Pollán has published many peer-reviewed articles and frequently lectures at national and international conferences.
