Dr. Koray Acarli is a Professor of General and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery. He has broad experience in treating both benign and malignant diseases of the liver, bile ducts, and pancreas. His expertise includes tumors, gallbladder cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, Klatskin tumors, and pancreatitis. He also treats biliary and pancreatic stones, as well as obstructive diseases, whether benign or malignant.
He earned his medical degree and completed his surgical training at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. He then received advanced training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Dr. Acarli has led several major centers, including serving as Head of the Liver Transplant Center at Istanbul University and Head of the Organ Transplant Center at Memorial Şişli Hospital. He is currently a Professor of General and HPB Surgery at Liv Hospital Ulus.
