Le Dr Braun est un chirurgien généraliste certifié avec plus de 25 ans d'expérience spécialisé en chirurgie gastro-intestinale, en particulier dans le traitement du reflux gastro-œsophagien (RGO) par chirurgie de fundoplication. Il a réalisé avec succès plus de 500 procédures de fundoplication Nissen et Toupet, en mettant l'accent sur les techniques laparoscopiques mini-invasives. Son expertise s'étend au diagnostic des cas complexes de RGO et à la proposition de plans de traitement complets pour améliorer les résultats des patients.

Il a réalisé ses principales expériences de formation dans diverses institutions internationales et cours de spécialisation en chirurgie générale et digestive, dont un stage de formation de deux ans à l'Université Johns Hopkins, Division de Chirurgie Hépatobiliaire Pancréatique et de nombreux cours à Madrid, avec le Prof. E.
