Dr. Lee received his MD from Catholic Medical College in Seoul in 1994. He has served as Section Chief at Sun Hospital and as Director at TeunTeun Hospital in Jeju.

Dr. Lee is a member of several professional organizations, including the Korean Knee Society, Korean Orthopedic Association, Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society, Asia-Pacific Orthopedic Association, and the Korean Sports Medical Association. His work includes research on ultrasonographic evaluation of biceps tendon effusion and new methods for treating rheumatoid arthritis and scapular fractures.
