Le Prof. Dr. Halil Ibrahim Bekler est né à Istanbul en 1960. Il a terminé ses études primaires à Istanbul. Il a terminé ses études secondaires à Saint-Joseph en 1979. En 1985, il a obtenu son diplôme de la Faculté de Médecine d'Istanbul. La même année, il a commencé à travailler comme médecin résident au Centre de Santé Tokat Akbelen. Entre 2006 et 2007, il a travaillé comme spécialiste de la main et de la microchirurgie à la faculté de médecine de l'université de Columbia. En 2008, il est devenu professeur associé d'orthopédie à la faculté de médecine de l'université Yeditepe. Entre 2009 et 2015, il a travaillé comme chef du service d'orthopédie à l'hôpital Lütfi Kırdar Kartal et a formé de nombreux assistants spécialistes. Il est devenu professeur en 2016.

Il effectue des interventions de microchirurgie orthopédique à l'hôpital Avicenna Atasehir et propose des traitements efficaces pour les prothèses du genou et de la hanche dans le domaine de l'orthopédie et de la traumatologie.
