Il a ensuite servi dans divers hôpitaux privés d'Ankara. En 2020, il a rejoint le personnel académique de l’Université de santé et de technologie d’Istanbul et est actuellement professeur adjoint à l’hôpital Koru Ankara.

Op.Dr. Osman Tuğrul GÜZELDİR est membre de la Société turque d'oto-rhino-laryngologie et de chirurgie de la tête et du cou, de la Société turque de base du crâne, de l'Association médicale turque, de la Société turque de rhinologie et de la Chambre médicale d'Ankara. Il a également une bonne maîtrise de l'anglais.
