Biographie
Ahmet Köybaşıoğlu est un professeur et médecin né en 1958. Il est entré à la Faculté de médecine de l'Université d'Ankara en 1975 et a terminé ses études, obtenant son diplôme en 1981. Il a terminé sa spécialisation en ORL (oto-rhino-laryngologie) à la Faculté de médecine de l'Université de Gazi entre 1982 et 1986.
En tant que spécialiste ORL à l'hôpital SSK d'Ankara Dışkapı, il a également travaillé au centre de recherche sur le cancer Antoni van Leeuwenhoek aux Pays-Bas. En 1997, il est devenu professeur associé au département de chirurgie ORL de la tête et du cou de l'université de Gazi, et en 2003, il est devenu professeur titulaire.
En 1998, il a travaillé sur des cas avec ses collègues américains au Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary aux États-Unis. Il a mené des recherches universitaires pendant 16 ans, de 1996 à 2012, en se concentrant sur les tumeurs de la tête et du cou. Il a également approfondi ses recherches universitaires en laryngologie, qui comprend les troubles des cordes vocales et de la voix.
Il s'est spécialisé dans les cas d'enrouement de la voix, de ronflement, de problèmes respiratoires, d'étourdissements, ainsi que de nodules, de polypes et de kystes des cordes vocales du larynx. Ses intérêts médicaux comprennent également les maladies ORL pédiatriques telles que l'amygdalite, les adénoïdes, l'accumulation de liquide dans l'oreille et les kystes cervicaux congénitaux.
Il a mené des recherches universitaires et publié des articles sur les tumeurs et les maladies cancéreuses qui affectent la bouche, le nez, la langue, la mâchoire, la gorge et les zones cutanées de la région de la tête et du cou. Ces maladies constituent ses principaux domaines d'intérêt médical.
