Le Dr Osman Aktas est chirurgien généraliste à l'hôpital Avicenne d'Ataşehir depuis 2005. Né à Kayseri en 1960, il a obtenu son diplôme de médecine à l'Université d'Ankara en 1983. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il a effectué son service militaire dans des unités médicales pendant deux ans. Il a effectué sa résidence en chirurgie générale à GATA de 1986 à 1990.
