Dr. Ertuğrul Ercan is a Professor of Cardiology. He completed his training at Ege University and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. His main areas of expertise are interventional cardiology, atherosclerosis, valve diseases, and coronary artery disease. He also focuses on inflammation and coagulation, cardiovascular immunology, and stem cell therapy.

Dr. Ercan has held key academic and administrative positions. He served as Head of Cardiology and Dean at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. He was also the Medical Director at İzmir Medical Point Hospital. He gained international experience at the Cleveland Clinic and in Melbourne, Australia.

He holds the European Cardiologist Diploma and is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. Dr. Ercan is also a member of several national and international cardiology associations and working groups.

Dr. Mustafa Dogdus is a cardiologist who graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine. He has broad experience in treating complex heart conditions. His expertise includes arrhythmias, atrial septal defect (ASD), atrial fibrillation, AVRT, AVNRT, bradycardia, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and structural heart diseases.

He is skilled in advanced interventional procedures. These include ASD, PDA, and VSD closure, EPS-ablation, ICD-CRT-D implantation, and percutaneous coronary and peripheral interventions. Dr. Dogdus worked at Karaman State Hospital and Uşak University Training and Research Hospital cardiology clinics from 2017 to 2022.

He is an active member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, and the Cardiovascular Academy. He also holds board and working group positions in several national and international cardiology organizations.

Dr. Humayun Kakar is a cardiologist. He earned his medical degree from Eskişehir Osmangazi University between 2007 and 2014. He completed his cardiology residency at İzmir Dokuz Eylül University from 2015 to 2020. In 2024, he received advanced training in heart failure at the University of Zurich in Switzerland.

He has worked at İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Medical Point Hospital and Konya Cihanbeyli State Hospital. He also took part in advanced heart failure education at the University of Zurich.

Dr. Kakar is a member of several professional organizations. These include the European Society of Cardiology, Turkish Society of Cardiology, Heart Failure Association, American College of Cardiology, Cardiovascular Academy Association, and the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI).

Dr. Ugur Taskin is a specialist in interventional cardiology. He treats conditions such as high cholesterol, heart valve diseases, heart failure, and coronary artery disease. He received his medical degree from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Taskin worked at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine from 2009 to 2014, where he gained valuable experience. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology and the Izmir Medical Chamber. These memberships show his dedication to high standards in cardiology.

Dr. Baha Zengel is a general surgeon with expertise in breast, gallbladder, thyroid diseases, and hernia repairs. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. In 2004, he earned a doctorate in Basic Oncology from Dokuz Eylül University. He became an Associate Professor of General Surgery in 2014 through the Inter-University Board.

Dr. Zengel is skilled in advanced surgical procedures. His experience includes skin and breast-conserving mastectomy, oncoplastic breast surgery, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and ROLL/SNOLL techniques. He has held important positions at Izmir Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital, including Education Officer.

He is a member of several professional associations. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Aegean Region Surgery Association and is a founding board member of the Basic Oncology Association.

Dr. Ela Simay Zengin is a neurologist. She completed her medical training at Dokuz Eylül University, Başkent University, and Acıbadem University. She has worked at Bitlis Tatvan, Sirnak, and Cizre State Hospitals.

Dr. Zengin treats Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, migraines, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke. She uses advanced treatments, including apomorphine pump therapy, botulinum toxin injections, and migraine vaccines.

She is a member of the Turkish Neurology Association, American Academy of Neurology, European Academy of Neurology, and International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society.

Dr. Ulvi Samadzade is a neurologist with training from Azerbaijan State Medical University, Gazi University, and Dokuz Eylul University Hospital. He diagnoses and treats neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, migraine, and multiple sclerosis.

Dr. Samadzade uses advanced treatments, including botulinum toxin injections, intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) therapy, migraine vaccines, and plasmapheresis. He practices at İzmir University of Economics Medical Point Hospital.

Sedat Çağlı and Prof. Başkaya. These experiences have strengthened his skills in complex neurosurgical procedures.

Dr. Özcan Uzun is a nephrology specialist. He earned his medical degree from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine (2005-2011). He completed his internal medicine and nephrology training at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine (2012-2016, 2018-2022).

Dr. Uzun treats acute and chronic kidney failure, diabetic kidney disease, Fabry disease, glomerulonephritis, hyponatremia, kidney disease related to heart failure, and vasculitis. He is skilled in managing diabetic kidney disease, treating glomerulonephritis, providing hemodialysis, and controlling hypertension.

He has worked as an internal medicine specialist at Batman Training and Research Hospital. He also served as a nephrology specialist at Yalova State Hospital. Dr. Uzun is a member of the Turkish Nephrology Association and the Izmir Medical Chamber.

Dr. Mert Filibeli is a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology. He completed his residency at the University of Health Sciences Tepecik Teaching and Research Hospital in 2017. He currently works as a surgeon at Medicalpark Hospital and İzmir University of Economics. He has also worked at Buca Seyfi Demirsoy Teaching and Research Hospital and Dr. Behçet Uz Pediatric Diseases and Surgery Teaching and Research Hospital.

Dr. Filibeli is a member of the Turkish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology since 2012. He has also been a member of the Turkish Orthopedics Education Council since 2017. He is fluent in English (YDS 87.5) and German (Deutsches Sprachdiplom C-2).
