Prof. Dr. Ali Ferruh Akay is a board-certified urologist with more than 30 years of medical experience. He has specialized in urology for over 25 years. He currently serves as Professor of Urology at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.

Dr. Akay earned his medical degree from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his urology residency at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine. In 2005, he received advanced training in Endourology and Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Rochester in the USA.

He has worked at several leading institutions. These include Dicle University, Istanbul Training and Research Hospital, Memorial Diyarbakır Hospital, Veni Vidi Hospital, and Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.

Dr. Akay’s expertise includes uro-oncology, endourology, minimally invasive procedures, stone surgeries, male infertility, erectile dysfunction, and BPH. He has published over 100 scientific articles and is an active member of the European Association of Urology (EAU).

Dr. Muhammed Zubeyr Üçüncü is an Associate Professor of Surgery and a specialist in General Surgery. He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University, Istanbul Medicine Faculty. He is known for his skills in acute biliary pancreatitis, endoscopy, trauma and emergency surgery, obesity, and breast health.

Dr. Üçüncü has published more than 15 peer-reviewed articles. His research covers breast cancer, gastrointestinal diseases, and surgical methods. He has presented his work at international congresses, including the SIS World Congress on Breast Healthcare and the European Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery.

He is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Endoscopy. He is also a member of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders. Dr. Üçüncü has helped improve breast cancer prognosis and minimally invasive surgery in Turkey.

Dr. Remzi Temür is an experienced anesthesiology specialist. He focuses on anesthesia and reanimation. Since 1980, he has worked on scientific research to improve patient safety and develop new anesthesia techniques.

Dr. Temür graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. He is accredited by the Turkish Medical Association. He has published many studies and is dedicated to high standards in perioperative care.

Dr. Alp Gürkan is a surgeon with more than 33 years of experience in organ transplantation and general surgery. He has performed over 1,900 kidney transplants and more than 3,000 surgical procedures. This makes him one of Turkey’s most accomplished transplant surgeons.

Dr. Gürkan founded Turkey’s first non-university organ transplant clinic. He also performed the country’s first laparoscopic kidney transplant from a live donor. He is known for leading Turkey’s first intestinal transplant. Dr. Gürkan has received several major honors, including the Turkish Department of Health Excellence Award of Renal Transplant and the Prime Minister Medical Honor Award.
