Dr Roberto Hernandez Pena is a neurosurgeon based in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. He works with fellow neurosurgeon Dr Nestor Rodriguez. Together, they perform 30 to 60 neurosurgeries each month.

Dr. Manuel Rodrigo Prieto Aldape is a bariatric and metabolic surgeon in Guadalajara, Mexico. He has over 21 years of practice and has performed more than 3,500 procedures. He is board-certified in general surgery and bariatric surgery by the Mexican Board of General Surgery and CMCOEM. He holds a master’s in medical sciences. He completed his general surgery training at the Civil Hospital of Guadalajara. He later served as Chief of the Bariatric Surgery Unit at the same hospital.

He has taught dozens of residents and speaks at national and international congresses. His leadership roles include President of the College of General Surgeons of Jalisco. He is the Scientific Section Coordinator for Bariatric Surgery at the Mexican Association of General Surgery. He is also Head of the Education Committee of the Mexican College of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery (2023–2025). His research includes 8 peer-reviewed papers and 2 book chapters on obesity, hernia repair, and metabolic outcomes.

Dr Roberto Hernandez-Pena is a neurosurgeon. He earned his MD at the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California and completed neurosurgery training in Mexico City, followed by a neurology/neurosurgery fellowship in Phoenix, Arizona.

He is part of a two-surgeon neurosurgical team with Dr Nestor Rodriguez, who completed a fellowship in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Together they bring more than 18 years of surgical experience and are recognized as one of the leading neurosurgery teams in Mexicali.

Dr. Alejandro Lira is an experienced urologist in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad de Guadalajara in 2005. He completed urology training at UNAM in Mexico City and received surgeon certification in 2011.

He is a member of the Mexican Council of Urologists. He attends urology events regularly. After certification, he returned to Tijuana and works with hospitals across the city.

He is a Tijuana native and speaks English. He is available for consultations and surgical care after review of medical reports.
