Dr. Nicola Vione specializes in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Pathology.

He began his training at the University of Turin where, in 1996 he obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery, and in 1997 the qualification to practice. Subsequently, in 2001 he obtained the specialist diploma in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Pathology. 

Over the years of his career he has attended various prestigious hospitals, perfecting himself in Functional and Aesthetic Surgery of the nose, performing thousands of operations and obtaining excellent results. He regularly attends specialization courses and national and international congresses, learning the most avant-garde techniques of the moment such as preservation rhinoplasty which allows primary rhinoplasty operations to be performed, guaranteeing respect for the anatomy of the nose and obtaining extremely natural and a shorter post-operative period.

Since 2015, he has been collaborating with the "Micheli-Pellegrini" Study Center, one of the most prestigious schools in Italy of rhino-cervical-facial reconstructive surgery, as a member of the scientific committee and as a Professor of Functional and Aesthetic Surgery of the Nose. He currently works at the San Luigi Gonzaga public hospital in Orbassano (Turin), as Medical Director of the Otolaryngology Operative Unit. He also works in some private clinics, such as Santa Caterina da Siena GVM and the Fornaca Clinic in Sessant.

Dr Vione is a member of numerous national scientific societies such as AICEFF (Italian Association of Aesthetic and Functional Surgery of the Face), AOOI (Association of Italian Hospital Otorhinolaryngologists), AIOCC (Italian Association of Head and Neck Oncology) and SIOeChCF ( Italian Society of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery). Dr. Nicola Vione is an established professional in the field of Otolaryngology and particularly expert in Functional and Aesthetic Surgery of the nose.

Having graduated in Medicine and Surgery at a very young age, Prof. Egle Muti then specialized in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Clinical Oncology and Clinical Psychotherapy.

Invited as a speaker at numerous conferences around the world, she is a professor of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the San Luigi Gonzaga Medical University based in Orbassano.

Her scientific production has focused above all on breast surgery, particularly on post-mastectomy breast reconstruction and the treatment of tuberous breasts, and on nose surgery.

She is part of the FONCAM (National Operational Forces Group on Breast Cancer) and is a member of the study group for General Aesthetic Surgery and Breast Surgery of SICPRE.

For several years she was a teacher of the Facial Anatomical Dissection course at the Free University of Brussels.

Le Dr Ferrando est chirurgien (MD), docteur en sciences biomédicales et oncologie (Ph.D) et spécialisé en chirurgie plastique, reconstructive et esthétique.

Après avoir obtenu le Diplôme Scientifique Européen à l'École Européenne de Karlsruhe en Allemagne, le Dr Ferrando a fréquenté la Faculté de Médecine et de Chirurgie de l'Université de Turin, où il a obtenu son diplôme avec la note maximale et avec dignité de publication en 2004.

Au cours de son école spécialisée en chirurgie plastique, reconstructive et esthétique, il a effectué de nombreuses bourses à l'étranger, dont une axée sur la reconstruction des malformations faciales infantiles au Great Ormond Street Hospital de Londres, en Angleterre, avec le Dr Sommerlad ; sur la reconstruction mammaire microchirurgicale au Centre St. Andrew's pour la chirurgie plastique et les brûlures à Chelmsford, en Angleterre, avec le Dr Ramakrishnan ; et reconstruction mammaire avec des matrices dermiques acellulaires au Georgetown University Hospital, Washington DC, États-Unis, avec le Dr Spear.

De retour en Italie en 2011, le Dr Ferrando s'est spécialisé avec distinction en chirurgie plastique, reconstructive et esthétique à l'Université de Turin et, toujours dans la même université, en 2017 il a complété son doctorat en sciences biomédicales et en oncologie. Par la suite, le Dr Ferrando a complété le premier niveau de maîtrise en chirurgie mammaire à l'Université d'Ancône et suit actuellement le deuxième niveau de maîtrise en oncoplastie mammaire à l'Université de Gênes.

Actuellement, le Dr Ferrando travaille pour quelques cliniques de Turin en tant que Directeur Médical de 2ème niveau au département de Chirurgie Plastique et Reconstructive de l'Hôpital CTO de Turin, dirigé par le Docteur Malan, où il s'occupe principalement de la chirurgie mammaire, des tumeurs et traumatismes cutanés et au Clinica Santa Caterina da Siena du service de chirurgie reconstructive et plastique.

Il est membre de la Société italienne de chirurgie plastique, reconstructive et esthétique (SICPRE), de l'Association nationale italienne des chirurgiens du sein (ANISC), de la Société italienne des chirurgiens hospitaliers (SICO) et de la Société européenne de chirurgie oncologique ( ESSO)

En plus de suivre les étudiants du cours de Médecine et Chirurgie de l'Université de Turin pour leur mémoire de maîtrise dans son domaine de spécialité, il est régulièrement invité comme conférencier lors de cours et congrès nationaux et internationaux. Ses principaux domaines de recherche sont : les matrices dermiques acellulaires et la thérapie par pression négative sur les plaies chirurgicales fermées .

Actuellement, le Dr Ferrando a publié 11 articles originaux dans des revues scientifiques nationales et internationales, 21 résumés pour des congrès nationaux et internationaux et a reçu le prix : « meilleur article européen de 2019 » par la revue internationale Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Global Open.

Dans la pratique clinique, il réalise toutes les opérations de chirurgie mammaire, tant reconstructives qu'oncologiques, celles d'ablation de tumeurs cutanées et de reconstruction de malformations congénitales et de traumatismes, en plus des opérations de Chirurgie Esthétique et des procédures de Médecine Esthétique les plus avancées.
