Méthodes de destruction des néoplasmes malins par chauffage aux ultrasons, étude de l'utilisation de la brachythérapie dans le traitement de l'oncologie gynécologique,
étude des mécanismes de réponse au niveau moléculaire des cellules tumorales de la prostate à la radiothérapie;
études cliniques de l'oncomammologie, de l'oncopulmonologie, du lymphome oculaire.Le Dr Rabin étudie les mécanismes moléculaires de la réponse des cellules tumorales de la prostate à la radiothérapie. Cette recherche est menée en collaboration avec le laboratoire de l'Institut Weizmann.
Le Dr Rabin a également participé à des essais cliniques dans les domaines du cancer du sein, du cancer du poumon et du lymphome oculaire.
Le Dr Rabin coordonne actuellement une nouvelle étude unique menée à l'hôpital Sheba pour étudier une méthode de traitement des tumeurs cancéreuses à l'aide d'ondes ultrasonores guidées par l'IRM. Cette méthode consiste à augmenter la température de la tumeur jusqu'à une certaine limite, puis à la détruire.
