Sungho Kim

Professor Sung-Ho Kim, MD, MS, PhD is a highly respected specialist in pediatric cardiology and congenital heart disease, with more than 40 years of clinical experience dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart conditions in children and adults with congenital heart disease.

He graduated from Hanyang University College of Medicine and completed his Master’s and Doctoral degrees at Hanyang University Graduate School. Since beginning his medical practice in the early 1980s, Professor Kim has played a pivotal role in advancing the field of pediatric cardiac intervention and congenital heart disease management in Korea.

Professor Kim has extensive expertise in the treatment of atrial septal defect (ASD), ventricular septal defect (VSD), tetralogy of Fallot, and other congenital heart abnormalities. He is particularly renowned for his proficiency in catheter-based cardiac interventions, minimizing the need for open-heart surgery whenever possible.
