Nisa Polen Akkilic

He successfully graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 1997. Then he did his doctorate in prosthodontics at Marmara University and received his Phd (Doctor of Philosophy  title in 2004.  He worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of prosthodontics at Marmara University in 2005-2016. He worked as an associate professor from 2016 to 2021. then he worked as a professor at Istanbul Health and Technology University. His professorial  field is Prosthodontics. 

He has master's and doctoral thesis, international publications, articles in international books or chapters in books, articles presented at national scientific meetings and published in proceedings books, projects. In addition to these, he has  administrative positions at the university. He was the chairman of the ethics committee of Istanbul Health and Technology University Faculty of Dentistry in 2023 as the last administrative position. He was lecturer at university as a professor in 2021-2023. He educated students in field as 

prosthetic dental treatment, 

perminent dentures, removable dentures, implant dentures, smile design and aesthetic dentistry.

He is a member of the turkish prosthodontics and implantology association, CAMLOG Implant System Members, ITI members, International College of Prosthodontics.

He received the second prize in clinical poster presentation in 2016 and the second prize for the best oral presentation at the congress organized by the Turkish Society of Prosthodontics and Implantology in 2023. 

He has many certificates,such as The Maramra University Health Sciences Institute, Postgraduate Counseling Workshop (2020) and Boğaziçi Institute, Train-the-Trainer Certificate Program (2023).

He works as Professor in our clinic to  provide our patients with healthy teeth and a wonderful smile.
