With trigger finger, the goal is simple: restore smooth tendon movement without unnecessary disruption. At Wilmed, Maksym Własny performs ambulatory trigger finger treatment by releasing the tendon through cutting the narrowed pulley under local anesthesia. His orthopedics practice also concentrates on foot and ankle disorders in both children and adults, with additional interest in joint prosthetic work for the hip and knee. After medical school completed in 2010 at Kolegium Lekarsko-Wojskowe, Medical University of Łódź, he completed a postgraduate internship in Bydgoszcz and began his specialization there, later continuing it in Koszalin. During training, he gained experience from a leading specialist in treating foot deformities, Dr. Piotr Romaniuk. In everyday care, he focuses on minimally invasive operative management of conditions and injuries affecting the foot, ankle, hand, and the thumb’s degenerative changes.
