Mon chirurgien a été formidable ; il m'a dit en toute honnêteté quels résultats étaient réalistes compte tenu de ma morphologie et m'a clairement expliqué tous les risques, ce qui m'a rassurée
Si vous envisagez cette intervention, mon principal conseil est de vous préparer mentalement, car cela peut être une expérience bouleversante. Je suis en début de convalescence après ma réduction mammaire et mon lifting, et je me sens mieux que prévu. Mon chirurgien a été formidable ; il a été honnête quant aux résultats réalistes pour mon corps et m’a clairement expliqué tous les risques, ce qui m’a rassurée. L’équipe de la clinique était facilement joignable et est restée en contact avec moi. Sachez toutefois qu’il faut compter avec des frais supplémentaires : j’ai dû payer un supplément à la pharmacie pour une ordonnance. Quelques conseils pratiques : apportez un vêtement de compression de rechange, des t-shirts en coton à porter en dessous, ainsi que vos propres en-cas. De plus, la présence de ma mère à mes côtés a joué un rôle essentiel dans mon rétablissement ; je vous conseille donc de vous faire accompagner si vous le pouvez.
Le coordinateur de Bookimed à Winnington a été formidable. Peu importe le nombre de questions que je lui posais, il y répondait toujours rapidement et, malgré un petit contretemps de la part de l’hôpital de Winnington, il s’est mis en quatre pour essayer de m’organiser une nouvelle intervention. Mon coordinateur, Eyyub, à l’hôpital Optimed, a été exceptionnel. L’hôpital était formidable, et le personnel de mon étage était fantastique. Nous utilisions Google Translate lorsque le coordinateur n’était pas avec nous et que nous étions confrontés à une barrière linguistique, mais cela n’arrivait pas très souvent. Avant et après mon opération, j’ai été prise en charge par le personnel infirmier, qui s’est montré extrêmement attentionné envers moi et ma mère. Je recommande à 10000000 % Bookimed et l’hôpital Optimed.
Les consignes postopératoires pourraient être améliorées. Je leur ai suggéré de rédiger un guide général indiquant ce qu’il faut faire et ne pas faire, ainsi que la durée de ces recommandations. Ce qui est normal, et si quelque chose ne va pas, qui contacter, etc. Je pense que cela aiderait grandement les patients étrangers et éviterait aux coordinateurs de l’hôpital d’être submergés par une multitude de questions provenant de plusieurs patients à la fois. Une tranquillité d’esprit pour le patient et un peu plus de soutien pour le coordinateur. La nourriture est adaptée aux patients turcs et peut être difficile à digérer pour les patients étrangers. Là encore, je leur ai suggéré d’essayer de proposer une petite boîte de céréales riches en fibres au petit-déjeuner et, au lieu d’un repas complet à midi, quelque chose de simple comme des sandwichs, des petits pains, des bagels ou des viennoiseries. Le dîner était généralement correct et nous pouvions en manger la majeure partie, mais notre alimentation pendant la journée était un peu moins copieuse que ce qu’ils proposaient et il y avait beaucoup de gaspillage alimentaire. Ils pourraient réduire ce gaspillage et utiliser cet argent à d’autres fins s’ils s’adaptaient aux régimes alimentaires des patients étrangers.
