In 2020, he completed his residency training in Neurosurgery at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital and became a Specialist in Neurosurgery. Following his residency, he fulfilled his mandatory service in Mardin and later served as a Neurosurgeon at Sancaktepe Training and Research Hospital.
His clinical focus is on spinal and spinal cord disorders. To further enhance his expertise, he completed an observership in the Complex Spinal Surgery Department at The Walton Centre, one of the United Kingdom’s leading neurosurgical centers.
Since 2026, Op. Dr. Ercan Kaya has been serving as a Neurosurgeon at NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital, providing comprehensive care for patients with brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system disorders.
