Baris Kanik

Dr. Barış Kanık began his medical education at Dokuz Eylül University in 2009 and completed his training in 2015. In 2017, he started working as a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital, one of Istanbul’s major training and research institutions.

In 2022, he was appointed to Çankırı State Hospital, where he completed his compulsory medical service between 2022 and 2024. Throughout his career, he has consistently pursued professional development by participating in advanced training programs and earning certifications in microsurgery, reconstructive surgery and aesthetic techniques.

He holds certifications from the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS), the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (TPRECD), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), and the Turkish Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.

Dr. Kanık joined Vanity Cosmetic Surgery Hospital in August 2024. His surgical focus includes a wide range of both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, guided by a patient-centered and detail-oriented approach. Fluent in both Turkish and English, he communicates clearly with international patients and builds trust through transparency and care.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Kanık is passionate about playing electric guitar, growing plants and cycling — interests that reflect his calm, creative and disciplined personality.
